This is awesome. I turned off the forum early evening as I couldn't take much more of some of the knee jerk tantrums and slagging off of the club. But this morning....wow.
This really is us acting aggressively. I'm sure it's happened before but how often does this sort of scenario play out? Not much I'll bet, well done OUFC.

Now cams staying is there anyone else to worry about leaving

One of Eastwood or Stevens but we shouldn't be worried as we already have the replacement in the building.

As for any other outgoings they would surely be loans but that all depends on the numbers we bring in, should be pretty much all one way traffic now.

Absolutely great news that Brannagan is staying. I think this reiterates what we already knew in that the board have provided an incredible budget for this season. I just hope we can get a balanced squad together sooner rather than later - at present it is still very, very light. If the rumours of a striker and a defender signing today come to fruition things will be looking a lot better.

Cam Brannagan - Club Legend. Rare to get that degree of alignment from player to club to fan base. First home game at Cambridge should be 90 mins of Cam songs.

Right...now that's all sorted. Who's next?

Great news. And as someone has already mentioned, part of his decision must have been a look at the way he sees the team developing and improving in the coming weeks.
For whatever reason, our transfer business so far has been a bit disappointing (the quantity not the quality) so let’s assume things will pick up somewhat over the next couple of weeks and we’ll see some real quality additions.

I have to go to the dentist today as I have an abscess but this news will brighten my day no end. Brilliant news 😁😁

Cameron is yellow, and he wears a yellow hat! What a commitment from the board. If you live in Oxfordshire, and haven't bought a season ticket, please buy one now!

As for the bitter tangerines and lack of ambition comments - what, refusing to go to a s**t seaside town, where style means a purple rinse!?!?

Right. My thoughts are in such confusion I need to write an ordered list!

1. Absolutely brilliant news that he’s staying. Our best player and the heartbeat of the team.

2. @Scotchegg I owe you an apology - credit where credit is due, you were right!

3. Are the posters that started saying how he wasn’t all that, how he pressed too much so we lost our shape etc going to take it back?

4. Weren’t a few people on here saying that the reason we can’t keep any of our players when Championship clubs come calling is that if we paid anyone those kind of wages then all of the other players would then ask for a pay rise and then it would be unsustainable? What happened to that theory then?

5. If only we’d had this board in this mood when we sold Dickie, Atkinson… we’d have an oven-ready Championship side already!

Yeah, they think it’s lack of ambition, perhaps they need to look at their club a bit closer.
Best news of the summer.

His name was Sean Rudd, or as wrestling fans across the country knew him, ‘The Sensation of the Nation’.

I’m actually so delighted that Brannagan is staying that when I heard the news I immediately ran outside, powerbombed my neighbour while he was putting the bins out, and then ripped my trousers off like a cross between Hulk Hogan and Bucks Fizz.
And this is what I get to read before breakfast!
My wheaty bangs have gone limp and the milk is lumpy. I hope you're satisfied.
Oh well, just have to send out for some bacon sarnies. . . . .
