Was that on the clubs side or KR side ?
Club’s - if a manager identifies targets (with the recruitment team) that he wants but the club aren’t sure if said manager will be at the club in a matter of weeks, they will hold back from trying to sign those targets for obvious reasons.

Anyone know what type of midfielder he is?
Looking at comments on Twitter it looks like he’s a good ball player and carrier, gets about a lot, but is a bit lightweight (being only 19, and this being first senior loan).

Will obviously reserve judgement until watching him play a bit, and by all accounts he’s very talented, but part of me does feel like that’s the opposite of what we actually need.

What a singing! Exactly the type of player we need. He will slot into the midfield so well, and will enable Brannagan to get forward and influence play. Quality passer of the ball, technically gifted and seems to have some pace about him as well! Very pleased with this.

Great signing. Plan B finally works. Was our back up target after Tyler Morton went to Blackburn.

Expect Oisin Smyth to go out on loan off the back of it.
Exciting signing, and one that we really needed. Sounds like an 8 - but can play deeper. Lots of similarities to CB.

This was one of the key positions that we needed to fill alongside the full backs, and another forward.

We were linked a while back and so this is a demonstration that sometimes we all need to be patient to get the right ones (not the easy ones) in.

Well done to the club, and manager :)

Cracking signing, very happy with that. Recall clause in January but we also have an option to buy during this loan spell, all be it astronomically high

Well I'm buggered didn't think we'd sign anybody today and we have so fair Play to those who knew I'm happy with that signing hopefully he hits the ground running and doesn't get injured welcome aboard the yellow Submarine

He looks smaller than Liam Kelly! But a very technical dribbler. Not seeing much final product though.

3 PL appearances last year for Leeds - against West Ham, Arsenal, and Chelsea. Played CM rather than DM in those games.

Technically very good. Most likely to be fielded as a central midfielder but is almost as equally adept at sitting in front of the back four. Don't expect him to be a dominant hard hitting tackler. He's got an outstanding range of passing and a good first touch... His set piece delivery from free kicks isn't too bad either.

His strength is the biggest weakness. He simply doesn't have any... Yet. I can see him being bullied if relied upon to play a more defensive role, but otherwise he's a very decent athlete and a super footballer. Give him 10-15 games and hopefully you'll see a very good player.

No option to buy, he’ll be playing in the Prem in a year or two

From his clip he doesn't look to be much of a dribbler or hold on to the ball too long. More of a get the ball and pass it on forward and quickly ... which is good.

Yeah, despite having a tecnhically gifted midfield we don't really have any elite progressive passers, as was alluded to by KR on Sat. This should solve that and fill the void left by Kane. Just hope we don't play him at the base of a 3.
