How we never won that game today I’ll never know.

Henry blazing it over, when it was more difficult to miss than score.

Taylor is shot of confidence!

You get a penalty, and give it to a player that has been refusing to play for the last month or so. Or hasn’t fancied it.

O’Donker was our only shining light up front today. Thought he looked good.

Nice to see Wildschut back on the pitch was another big positive.

A draw at Hillsborough looks a good result, but in truth, that was 2 points dropped today.

Karl is the King
Give him another 4 year contract
Everything will be great

Come on, you're better than that! I can't even see many posts praising Karl, let alone suggesting that he gets a contract extension. But to not acknowledge a decent result and a much better performance, including the appearances of Murphy and Wildschut is churlish.

We were excellent today - incredible really that Henry and Murphy could both miss.

Sam Long was a highlight for me, I thought he defended exceptionally.

I’m sure Murphy’s taking some criticism for the pen, but I thought him and Wildschut looked very promising. We broke at speed and looked a threat on the counter. I’m certainly not going to dig anyone out for taking responsibility in a team that’s looked passive all season either.

The service to Taylor still doesn’t suit him. He can’t play as a lone striker when we’re playing more direct than last season. Maybe those wingers returning will be a step towards cutbacks to the penalty spot, rather than Bodin floating something aimless in or a long ball from defence. We need a more physical presence as an alternative either way.

It is a decent result SE
I'd have taken it before ko
We have a decent bunch of players
And we were unfortunate today
Maybe I've become.too cynical
Hopefully there has been a Damascene conversion
Let's see

Sheffield aren’t anything special but that was there to win. Problem is Taylor isn’t at the races this season the other striker is injured Will Robbo get a striker in January as that is surely plain to see and if we had won today we would be 10th

We'd only get two more points for a win.... so 13th.

It’s not the games like today that frustrate me , yet again the team prove they can mix it with the better so called teams.
It’s the way we approach and failure to brush aside the lesser so called sides that disappoints and really irritates.

Bate, Long, Brown, Eastwood and Mcguane once again with strong performances.
We really shouldn’t be as close as we are to the playoffs, with what’s been an inadequate season so far.
Hopefully todays clean sheet and positive approach will lead to a better 2nd half of the season.

Sheffield Wednesday probs the best team we’re gonna face this season and we dominated them away get a striker and we can get up there

Well, Cass63, that's another point racked up on the plus side against the Wednesday, especially after the good kicking you got from the rozzers during the 6-1 Hillsborough defeat many moons ago ( unjustified if I may say so ). Enjoy the evening in the King and Queen.
Happy days windmill

They are a top three team and we looked against them in fact better and were unlucky not to win, but it's our results againts FGR, Accy, Fleetwood etc..which come and bite us on the ass if we are looking at the playoffs

It’s taken six months to stumble upon a defensive balance that works - with both a wing back and centre back at full back no less, a midfield balance that works with Bate up to speed (was always going to take a while having only played about three games before), and to put together a set of attacking options with Yanic and Murphy that seems to have real potential.

The playoffs look a long shot, but we should expect a strong second half of the season and have two transfer windows to complete what all of a sudden looks a pretty promising squad. We were much better than Sheffield Wednesday today, who even without their best player, are clearly a strong side for this division.
