Probably because itβs the final home game of the season and they donβt want an invasion of the pitch especially being live on telly.Stadium Behaviour on Matchdays
As we approach the end of the 2023/24 season, Oxford United would like to thank the fans for their continued support throughout the season, while reminding supporters of the importance of their behaviour both in and out of the stadium.www.oufc.co.uk
Maybe Iβm out of the loop but itβs no wonder the atmosphere is often muted when the club talk to the fans like this . Ive not read anything from fans on here about crowd behavior, except that the atmosphere was finally better. Sledgehammer comes to crack nut comes to mind.
If there are individual cases then deal with them. This sort of message, for something that didnβt even make forum noise, seems over the top. Iβd really love to know what they define as βoffensiveβ too. In the words of Ricky Gervais, everything is offensive to someone somewhere.
Maybe someone can enlighten me?

If we lose does that mean the last regular game of the season at Exeter then also becomes must-win?
