Some people interview well, sometimes what appears like a perfect fit ends up as not working. It feels like a a Pep Clotet moment. The right look and saying the right things at the start (although now sounding more like a broken record), but just doesn’t seem to have any idea on how to coach and manager a football club at this level.
I don’t understand it, the due diligence must have shown him to be the right person, so where is the disconnect and why?
No but you continuously chat rubbish, asking the club to get rid of a manager who isn’t even a year into his deal, who are losing £6m a year. Don’t think that’s very clever do you? A manager who’s not had a summer window to bring in his own players. Was given the players manning had already earmarked for January which wouldn’t of been who he wantedDo you think you know what you’re on about then? It was hardly the point of a footballing genius I was making!!
Absolute rubbish, do you honestly think that Buckingham would have meekly accepted the players that Manning had already earmarked for January. No but you continuously chat rubbish, asking the club to get rid of a manager who isn’t even a year into his deal, who are losing £6m a year. I don't think he has authority and he was "interviewed " by video. It is very disturbing.Absolute rubbish, do you honestly think that Buckingham would have meekly accepted the players that Manning had already earmarked for January.
The players that were brought in would have been a collaboration between Buckingham and Waldron.
If it was the case as you stated, then we have a Head coach with no backbone or authority. Which is quite disturbing.
Yes I do, as I know that is the case.Absolute rubbish, do you honestly think that Buckingham would have meekly accepted the players that Manning had already earmarked for January.

Well for starters, 2 players who Manning was after during the summer turned up here in the new year….Brurey and Cumming.Absolute rubbish, do you honestly think that Buckingham would have meekly accepted the players that Manning had already earmarked for January.

What s**t? Some contracts will elapse but the players were good enough to get to second and stay there, most are perfectly good for div three. They just need good management and a couple of judicious additionsYes I do, as I know that is the case.
The recruitment was decided by Waldron/Manning to go after the players we did, nothing to do with Buckingham, the real point is, Des deserves the summer to clear out a lot of the s**t that isn’t good enough, lots of contracts running out and lots of the budget to play with.
No, it'll be mathematically out of our reach by then I'm afraidWe’re going to have to beat Lincoln aren’t we?
No it won’t be. Worst case is we will be 9 points behind 6th going into that game with 3 to play. Do you actually see us losing all 3 games against Fleetwood, Burton and Peterborough? I certainly don’t.No, it'll be mathematically out of our reach by then I'm afraid

Des won’t be getting sacked before the end of the season. One win, one draw, one defeat. Won’t lose all three, if we do then bye bye Des.
Des won’t be getting sacked before the end of the season.
It would do you and us all a favour if you just accept that.
We won’t be out of it mathematically with 3 games to go, I can’t even see us being mathematically out of it with 2 games to go.If we are mathematically out of the play offs with two or three games left it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he was sacked. Why would you prolong something that is inevitable?

Do you think Lincoln will win their next 4 but we won’t beat Fleetwood and Burton?I think we will get 4 points from our next 2, Lincoln will get 6 from theirs (Carlisle and Reading). Peterborough will beat us, Lincoln will win at home to Wigan and then beat us. Season over with two to go.
My mistake, for some reason I though Lincoln was the final game of the season. No, it'll be mathematically out of our reach by then I'm afraid
I agree with your last point. I think we will miss out by a point or 2.My mistake, for some reason I though Lincoln was the final game of the season.
But we ain't making the playoffs regardless, in my opinion.
Do you think Lincoln will win their next 4 but we won’t beat Fleetwood and Burton?
I actually think Lincoln will drop points tomorrow against Carlisle. Carlisle have just beaten Peterborough away 3-1 and got a point at home to Stevenage. Lincoln weren’t as convincing as they were before the international break against Orient.
