According to google maps the new train station is a 28 minute walk from the ground? Which with the 8pm kick off, later finish times in football matches nowadays and TVP malarkey means you won't get back to Reading train station till 10.45pm. Although some google maps walking routes are a load of B*****s.
And don’t forget your supply of tennis ballsConsidering getting the Reading football bus that picks up from Sandhurst as its only a mile from my house, if I am going undercover though I will have to borrow a Chelsea top to fit in on there.
I live in Tilehurst and have been similarly trying to work out the best way to get to the SCL for next Tuesday. Also suspect I’ll be going undercover on one of the football buses!
Other than finishing the Reading Half Marathon there, our lack of games against Reading the last two decades means I’ve not actually ever been there for football (despite largely living in Reading since I moved here for uni in 2004!). So excited for this one
Any idea how easy it is to park and where best to park to not get too stuck after the game?
Are there any pubs nearby?
Not good then to say the least.Used to drive by on my way to work and I would say that its worse than the Kassam for nearby pubs.
Not good then to say the least.
