Turks v Taffs

That was brilliant fun from Bale.

‘Balls to this keeping it in the corners. I’ll just run at them!’

Weirdest thing was - he did it twice in a row. After the first time, did Turkey not think it might be a reasonable idea to not let him have a run on goal?

Kind of sums up the Turkish performance over the two games - they're rubbish. Turns out being big, bald and angry does not in itself make you an international level striker! But Wales were very good today, and deserve to be moving on.

Thought it was a really fun game in general - probably the one I've enjoyed most this tournament (though I didn't see the second half of the Dutch vs. Ukraine).

Illustrates, though, why the four team international group is an awesome format.
Yes, it maybe encourages teams to be conservative in their opening games.....but if you don't win your opening game, you damn well have to go for the win in your second. And then the third round of games can often be absolute carnage as multiple teams go hell for leather for the win. **** FIFA for getting rid of it for 2026.

That was just brilliant. Well done Wales, Gareth Bales what an awesome player! He’s just doing it because he loves it, he’s got absolutely nothing to prove.

What a character Robbie Savage is, full of pride and passion, kicks every ball ( and opponents in his day ).

Because the Taffs hate the English, so feck em.

I accept you opinion, I’m not a massive fan myself, but I’d rather Wales did well, and watch the sweaty Socks fail time after time, because they really do dislike us.

Why on earth would you favour Turkey over Wales?

Because he’s the kind of person that chants “Sheep shaggers” when we play away at Shrewsbury…………

His lot voted for Brexit because they were told a million Turks were moving in!

Look its the Left Wing Cancel Mafia. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

If you must know I had a very enjoyable football holiday in Istanbul.

Its only a game kids, doesn`t matter who wins as long as it is entertaining and it certainly was.

Weirdly I'd rather see the Scots do okay at the moment by comparison to the Welsh.

Mainly because Wales have actually been fairly good which is a bit irritating. And also, Scotland have just been too s**t for too long - it's just not funny anymore.

Mind you, if Scotland do anything other than absolutely pathetically roll over tomorrow then there will be scenes.

What were the Turks doing at the centre circle after The Welsh 2nf goal?
