The phone cables didn't reach into that corner of the ground. If the picture had been taken at the LRT end they would have been.Ah, gotcha.
Also, why are none of the fans filming the action on their phones?

That's where I was stood!!The terrace at the side was so low then! Imagine if we played Rovers in the Championship now, we'd get an awful lot more than 6K.
Only LR / Osler corner... and that was high tech, right next to the local exchange behind the Shell garage!!The phone cables didn't reach into that corner of the ground. If the picture had been taken at the LRT end they would have been.

9:0 V Wisbech
Remember the day very well. Six nil up at half time. Oxford Mail reporter said he had never seen a goal rush like it. We did score a lot in those days.63 years ago I was in mums tummy
Cheers Greg!United defeat Bury 3-2 at Gigg Lane on this day 7 years ago. Two free-kicks from Chris Maguire and a Greg Leigh o.g did the damage.
I was in the Osler (Beech Road shelf for the first game), amazing night. Little bruv missed the game because he had a ticket bought to go to his primary school disco that night before we had the draw at Old Trafford, and mum and dad made him go to that insteadComing SOON - 40th anniversary!

What were your memories? As a small school kid I was in the packed London Road end. Amazing night that we won 2-1 AET.

That'd be one hell of a grudge to hold going that far wouldn't it.Is this why he’s now City?
Left side of the London Road (before I moved to the more civilized right side in the 90s). Has there ever been better mis-header than Biggins's that night?Coming SOON - 40th anniversary!

It seems to take an absolute age to drop in, time slowed to a crawl when he sent it looping towards goal.Left side of the London Road (before I moved to the more civilized right side in the 90s). Has there ever been better mis-header than Biggins's that night?
