What has Forde done to be kept on ? He would be fairly high up on my list of those to let go.
Forde is a very good utility player, who can do a good job covering multiple positions. And his dead ball quality is unrivalled.I’m surprised Forde would be a new contract & Lee not bothered. Forde is our 5th/6th choice central midfielder, 2nd/3rd choice right back, 4th/5th choice right winger. Lee has been a pretty nailed on starter & even if we improved in attacking personnel would be pushing that new player for a place.
I like Forde, but struggle to see much justification for keeping a player who is at least 2 spots from the starting 11 in every position he plays

A dead ball specialist and a good passer 2nd choice RB 3rd choice midfielder and right winger that’s anybody’s guessI’m surprised Forde would be a new contract & Lee not bothered. It depends on how much the board are going to back KR if there is a consortium who are interested in sorting a ground for the I’s would they’re want a team of nearly or a team threat will be.Won't be second choice rb next season, nor 3rd choice in the midfield. A good player but not one to take us to the next level.
Nicky Cadden just scored forest green's third from a freekick, a wicked delivery that went straight in without a touch. Nearly signed him in January.
Not sure how fans think we need 5/6 players or 10 in 1 case and then expect business done early
if only it was that simple eh
Might also be worth keeping in mind that there are a number of bigger clubs whose name will attract players that we may be after
Was told in Jan pretty reliably Cadden was signed...assumed it was to come in then, however could easily be a pre-contract thing for us in the summer.
Would be ideal for the left wing back role - although there appears to be a few OOC LBs.
Forde is versatile. He’s not let the side down at all this season and was light years more effective than Hanson on Friday. Well if he hasn't then it has probably got easier to sign him with Forest Green losing.
Cadden is out of contract this summer anyways so he will be a free.
So is Jamille Matt and that right back Jayden Richardson that I was impressed with second half, had pace to burn.
With Kyran Lofthouse gaining great experience this season surely he will be a right sided option as well . Think Forde is decent but don't see much point in him staying tbhForde is versatile. No thanks on Jamille Matt. Don't know anything on Richardson. If they'd come up Cadden may have re-signed for them. This is of course if we are still after him.
Jamille Matt is exactly the sort of player we need to give Taylor competition in the one up front role, he wins so many headers and holds the ball up and also puts a shift in.
