Chin up guys and girls. We still haven’t got our best XI starting games, and once we are 10-12 games in we will be seeing teams like Bolton off.

Yes we should of taken our chances, could of easily won the game. We didn’t, and we move on. I’m confident this team will be right up there come May.

I think the moaning is more a case of how the hell didn’t we win that and the response is we didn’t take our chances or shoot on sight
but as i've already said they missed chances too, it could so easily have been another Luton scoreline (7-5) or the 5-5 Pompey.

Sorry but if we analyse a game we have to look at it from both sides not just one way. you cannot say if only Whyte had scored without realizing that Doyle should have scored to make it 3-1, it really was that sort of game.

It doesn't work that way because a dozen different managers could come in and still not take us up!

We are probably looking at having a playing budget around 10th-12th this season. Promotion this season will be exceptional, even if very clearly our target.
Like to know if what ( I didn’t hear it ) but KR saying that Erik phoned him and asked if there was any player needed?

... fair point .... however, we deserved at least a point today IMO
Swings and roundabouts though, Sarge. Crewe probably should have scored that late chance on Tuesday, in which case (even if we had got a point today) we'd be a point worse off!

Their big centre back santos? won everything in the air. Guess where the majority of our free kicks and corners went. When we played through them we looked like scoring pretty much every time we had the ball.

a fair comment but you still have to wonder why we try to walk it in ok Taylor had space so could do but there were other chances a shoot on sight sometimes works. I understand your point about Bolton but tbf I would leave there fans to moan about there missed chances.

I didn't mind the system today, it was a bit shaky defensively but the "front 3" carved through them time and time again. Just need to get them on finishing and crossing practice all week

Sykes is not the answer same old same old performance . Fancy us at QPR though we are missing a few players and Iam sure we will have more coming in . I can see Agyei going and 2/3 in the next 9 days still deserved a draw☹️
Wow not sure you were watching the same game as me. Yes he shouldn't of lost his footing when he was through on goal and his discipline at times let's him down but he's getting much better. I thought it was very, very noticeable when he went off today and I can see exactly why Ipswich were sniffing around. He's only going to get better and if he can add composure to his game then he will be some player

Terrible finishing by Whyte. So frustrating.

Thought it was a decent game and we deserved at least a point.

Left acres of space on the flanks though and Fordy can’t really defend against real quality. Also we didn’t close Bolton down quickly enough.

Plusses , great goal by Taylor, great switching of play , McNally, and when he came on, McGuane.

Agree. The one where he smashed it past the keeper 1st half wasn't much better.

One of those days unfortunately. Created enough openings to win 3 matches. First half Seddon should have gone with his right from the cut back, instead of trying to poke it in with the outside of his left (although his rocket of a volley second half was very close to an absolute screamer). Sykes getting into a very similar position by the front post like the one he played across to Winnall against Charlton, although this time fluffed his lines altogether. And Whyte. Wow. If you haven't seen it yet, it was every bit as bad as people are saying.

Whyte still seems a bit rusty but he’ll get there!

To an extent we're paying for not having adequate cover, having to play players out of position. Hopefully kr will address that before the window closes, along with a striker who can put away these chances we create but dont put away.

We win some we lose some today just wasn’t our day in front of goal we move on hopefully get 3 points next Saturday after we progress in the league cup beating QPR

Our centre forward scored. You want to get a winger in to replace Whyte who apparently missed a sitter?
