Midweek against Wimbledon at the Manor. Visibility hardly to the half way line. London Road roaring as if a goal had been scored. Memories anyone?
didnt the oxford mail have a pic of Beasant in the fog on the back page the following day?

proper old fashioned pea-souper was that one..... yep, I can remember the 'roaring' if a goal had been scored in the fog

think referee claimed cuckoo lane and london road goalposts were visible from the centre circle, .... he must've had prototype night vision specs on to see even that well!

Quick question, is the game free to season ticket holders on ifollow or do I need to pay? Wasn't sure?
not certain... but i think its 'all' pay this season , when ifollow is available?

Feeling confident tonight. I'd like to see Williams get a start, I think he deserves it after the Wigan game.

2-0 Oxford. Taylor, Williams.

Was 2-0 if my faltering memory hasn't failed me.

I think it was 2:0 as well. I’m sure we was attacking the London Rd 1st half. I’m sure I remember seeing 2 goals but might be getting confused with the amount of cheering. Ain’t got a clue what happened at the cuckoo lane end. Couldn’t see past the 18 yard box

First time I sat in the stand.Sat next to a Wimbledon supporter with a sense of humour. As the game progressed he stopped cheering on Wimbledon & started shouting. Come on the fog.

Other than maybe Holland for Williams, Stevens for Easty and McGuane for Sykes(?) that's maybe our strongest possible line up? COYY!!

The starting line-up has made me feel like getting on ScotchEgg's positivity bus, good team that. COYY.

I fear for the attendance tonight. There appears to be fewer than 135 people in the ground.

Sykes has done far more than McGuane this season! He's been one of our best (if not the best) attacking players.
The only question is whether he's better in one of the wide forward roles than he is at the front of the midfield three.

If you had said McGuane for Williams, then I might have agreed - although Williams deserves his shot tonight after his recent performances.
