Excellent pub session before the game, excellent performance and excellent news about Kane after the game.

Less than excellent mask wearing in the concourse at halftime - by my reckoning roughly 1 in 20 wearing a face covering, shame on those that didn’t - if not for you, do it for more vulnerable fellow fans.

Theyre always a bunch of sh!t anti-football cloggers
Actually, like Fleetwood they seem to have largely abandoned that, though they made some clumsy fouls, and don’t have anything to replace it with. It’s a lot harder to play football than to be anti-football.

God knows how me managed to lose to them at their place. They were absolutely dreadful. Could barely string two passes together.

We pressed them more tonight compared to the game at their place. We also kept their right winger (#37 I think) very quiet tonight too.

It was earlier in the season where we couldn't defend set pieces to save our life.

Great Oxford performance, particularly first half we could’ve been 4 up.
That must be almost our strongest starting 11?
Brannagan and Kane class again. Taylor and Sykes a constant threat.

Slightly strange performance for me. I genuinely don't even think we were that good. Some sloppy passing, not a lot of movement off the ball, no defence-splitting passes (until Thorniley, Kane and Brannagan started bombing it over that left back's head second half). We have played better than that a number of times this year and had more difficult games, it felt like we never really got out of second gear. But that in itself is incredibly promising - to win that comfortably and still have two or three levels better to go if needed is pretty exciting.

Thought Whyte had a really good game. Two excellent assists. The guy is absolutely allergic to scoring though.

Kane news brilliant. Reckon we have to steel ourselves for Bran leaving, though. If that release clause is six figures he'll be an absolute steal for any side in the Championship.

Fair play to the Wombles fans. Don't particularly like them as a fan base and their constant stick to KR is genuinely so embarrassing, but they made a really good noise throughout (especially given they had quite literally nothing to cheer). The 'We've had a shot' chant got a chuckle from me.

But that’s if he wants to leave, and the way things are going and his partnership with Kane could be a major factor in him staying.

Once you've sobered up, take a look at the at least three defence-splitting passes from Kane and Brannagan in the first 20 minutes...

We were levels above them.

He may well move on in the summer but I’d be surprised if he wanted to go now. I’m sure he wants to see how far we can go this season and he’ll have a chance to move after that.

Getting outsung by a woeful team 3-0 down rather sums up the kassam this season!
Id be shocked if there's a better CM partnership in league 1 than Herbie and CamBran. Superb

Good performance tonight, in my opinion no stand out performances just solid 7s and 8s all over the park and that was all that was needed to beat them. We have a few more gears we can go through.

Think Taylor's goal may have been ruled offside if we had VAR in league one! Screenshot_20211229-234947_Twitter.jpg

Lovely result and performance. We absolutely hammered them with some utterly superb football.

Kane was superb and MOM for me. Cam Bran excellent as well.
Both wingers were very good. Very nice to see Gavin Whyte with 2 assists from excellent crosses. Pity he didn't take that early chance to get scoring. Ryan Williams was a threat and a pity Sedds crossed when he could have put Wiiliams through towards the end of the game.

Nobody had less than a good game.
