Brighton close to signing the Dutch U21 keeper from Anderlecht which should let them let a keeper go.

(Mentioned on talksport).

Believe Burey effectively burnt his bridges at Milwall in their last game of the season by giving wa*ker signs at the fans after receiving some abuse. They think he is extremely talented though.

Well we've all been saying that we need a bit of a nasty streak in the squad and if he's giving Millwall fans the w****r sign then he must have a bit of that.

Anyone know much about Tyler Burey? Wikipedia says Midfielder. Played about half Millwalls games last season.
Had been on the radar of several Prem clubs but not been able to sustain fitness or form for very long. Struggled last season in a toxic atmosphere at Millwall with allegations of racial abuse as well as general abuse from some of their fans.

Quiet and unassuming young player who appears to have had that confused for arrogance. Definitely wasn't in the right environment, and seems he likely wanted away. Hopefully we can support the lad and bring out the best in him. The fee won't help in terms of expectations, but if we can provide support, time and patience, we should be rewarded in spades. Has the ability to tear up this division.

Very interesting reading the Millwall forum - never thought I'd say that!
Speaks to wider issues about young people in today's society.

The signings so far and some of the names being discussed as possibles is like chalk and cheese with last season. What a difference, and I think supporters are beginning to get the feel good factor back and every day is now exciting, never expected that in mid June and before the players have reported back.

An exciting out and out striker or two would really crank things up another notch or two as well.

Some unhappy at the idea, some not, but his ability isn't really questioned.

Certainly not the home run you'd expect for the fee rumoured, but then again, Jamie Hanson was supposedly as close to a sure thing as you could get for the money.

It's a gamble, but huge pay-off potential.

It’s all very exciting, a young championship player, a a goalkeeper with best in the division upside and a position we’ve needed for years
