So Edwards sounds very much like a very good super sub at bare minimum from Ipswich fans with the potential of much more if he can start ironing out his end product. 7.5/10 on paper but let’s hope it can be so much more

It’s deadline day, who who knows, but I wouldn’t expect too much more than Edwards. But let’s see.

Other Deadline Day L1 rumours:

Barnsley centre back Liam Kitching to Coventry
Sheff Wed midfielder Will Vaulks to Derby
Former MK right back Tennai Watson to Charlton
Bristol Rovers right back James Gibbons to Port Vale
Crystal Palace striker John-Kymani Gordon to Cambridge U
Luton striker Admiral Muskwe to Exeter
Striker Uche Ikpeazu to Wycombe
Wimbledon striker Ali Al-Hamadi to Peterborough or Barnsley
Wycombe striker Brandon Hanlan to Wrexham
Peterborough Defender Josh Knight to QPR
Barnsley midfielder Callum Styles to Millwall
Salford City striker Callum Morton to Exeter
Bristol Rovers striker Ryan Loft to Port Vale
Rotherham striker Joshua Kayode to Barnsley
Port Vale striker Ellis Harrison to Cheltenham
Cardiff City midfielder Andy Rinomhota to Reading

Wakey wakey Liam, quick shower and straight into work. You've already shown that you can work magic on this squad but are you a Paul Daniels or a Merlin. Guess we'll know by 11 tonight

Yes. Free transfers only option after 11pm tonight.

Think we could still loan players to the National League, but could be wrong.

Will be interesting to see how many of these come off. Expecting Reading to be busy. Dom Ballard likely from Southampton on loan. Tennai Watson signing for Charlton. Interesting that Manning didn't go for him (there could be a million and one reasons for this).

Right if we sign Freddie ladapo I think we go up this year, please go get him 🙏

Are there rumours of that happening? There are a few whispers that he might be on his way out from our end and with Dane Scarlett going the other way he’ll probably be available.

The only club that’s been mentioned is Derby but not sure if there’s any truth in that because I think they’re limited in what they can spend on fees.

I don't think this link is any more than speculation. We have been trying to part with a large amount of cash for a striker and have been linked (by reliable sources) to Jack Marriott, and Mo Eisa. Club is keen on a proven, experienced strikerand its reasonable to think that we might at least have enquired about Ladapo.

Really ? Surely there’s a striker incoming ? Otherwise we have a number 9 with a career strike rate of 1 in 8 and two inexperienced back ups with 3 senior goals between them. I will be staggered if Manning leaves us this short up top.

I saw the Marriott links, personally I think Eisa would be the better choice.

If it does turn out to be Ladapo, I suppose that buying three players from the same club will go some way towards integrating them all into the group.

But a strike rate better than 1/2 in league one. It may not continue but we have every reason to believe that he will get 15 this year

I've just searched up some gifs using keywords like "cum torrents, massive ejaculations and yogurt fight" with the simple aim of making grown men and women cackle behind their keyboard.

I've since retracted and decided to grow up instead. However, I would like to say how jolly excited I am by it all.
Haha, I thought I'd catch up on the overnight YF shenanigans this morning. I had to double check that I hadn't accessed my 2nd favourite site by accident! 😳

So 15 from Harris. O’Donkor is something like 1 in 15 and Perkins a total unknown. Nowhere near enough for a team pushing for promotion. Say Harris picks up an injury, it’s either a square peg in a round hole or kids who haven’t yet learnt where the net is. A striker is an absolute necessity - a Marriott, Ladapo, Clarke-Harris, Eisa type.

You say Perkins is a total unknown, yet you’re already writing him off. Highly doubt Manning would’ve loaned in a striker who “hasn’t yet learned where the net is”
