It’s odd that it is closed on weekends. If they didn’t want to be open 7 days a week then maybe not open on a Monday and/or Tuesday? Why is the club shop closed on weekends?

Swindon do not own the colour Red, the club badge on the shirt is what makes it Oxford United and then it has nothing to do with any team that also play in red. Fans that don’t like this must have some red things in their life surely. Never use a red pen, or eat tomato soup?
I’m aware they are open on a match day but still think missing a trick by not being open every weekendOpen on match days
My wife used to have a red G-string until I made it disappear I told her the dog had eaten it ..... We didn't have a bloody at the timeI have a couple of pink shirts and pink polo shirts but nothing red mind you Mrs Bazzer has a red pair of knickers and I do take them of her but not for anything Scum related

How’s your blood?Oh where do I begin....................
There is NOTHING red in my life. Never wear red, never had a red car, don't like Mick Hucknall, don't like robins, don't eat Wiltshire ham, never drive through swindon (even if the diversion is longer), always have money in the bank as I don't like being in the red, never watched Red Dwarf, always use sun cream as I don't want to go red, and no, I don't have a red pen.
There's probably more, but I think I've made my point.

Sounds like a possible specialist subject on MastermindOh where do I begin....................

and that is the mentality and actions you are seeing whilst ignoring the values of a true community clubThere will be another side to this that the club could put across if they want to; but they'll have to say something pretty remarkable for me to understand why they have done this. Although the funds raised from these sales go the clubs charity, the club may feel like they are missing out on revenue and may have 'branding' concerns. Someone earlier in the thread referenced that maybe club's commercial partners like The Terrace may not want the competition / have clauses in their agreements etc, but there is no way The Terrace would object to the likes of Sue Trafford selling merchandise for charitable reasons.
Ironically this is something that a 'top 30' club might do, i.e want total contol over all branding / merchandise etc, but I think the club have massively 'missread the room' here. It would be interesting to get more of an explanation from the club re this.
Also I hadn't clocked the update about the new proposed fan engagement model until I read this thread. What a crock of sh&t that new proposal is, it might be a new fandangle model in line with FSA guidelines but I do wish we could revert back to the more simple times of having one elected independent voice consisting of representatives voted for by the fans speaking with the club. The suggested model proposes that representatives have to go through a selection board! No thanks, lets revert back to Oxvox beng the voice of the fans.
Same day as the "Christmas Extravaganza" - No Christmas cards in the shop. They had not arrived.Anyone who had issues with orders please contact ouspinfo@gmail.com I understand that there were some supply issues but it eouldbe helpful to get an idea of how wide this was.
Why ?Hope we don't have red in our away shirts again.
