Only Zaide Took-Oxley who is training with the first team and looks very impressive on today's showing.

Wildschut and Baldock nowhere to be seen.

Baldock was there but he wasn't training. He was with the club staff at the check in desk and was seen walking around with them as well.

Excellent. At least we're keeping him busy. Perhaps we could find something for Wildschut next. Removing pigeon guano from the SSL maybe?

Baldock was on the entrance gate, checking names.

We’re stuck paying him circa 2k per week (it’s only that ‘cheap’ due to the fact that he can’t play and therefore can’t collect his full wages) because he’s got a contract for another year, which we gave him despite him not being able to obtain insurance that would pay him off in the event of a career ending injury. A lovely little gift from Uncle Karl at the football club’s expense. He’ll be the best paid member of the non-playing staff outside of the CEO at present.

We’ve been trying to palm Yanic off since safety was secured at FGR in April. Fingers crossed he’s off finalising a move somewhere so that we can finally get another attacking player in.

A remarkable state of affairs. Whoever signed this off must have been out of their mind. Surely Karl didn't have authority to agree this alone. Or did he? No hard feelings to Baldock btw - was a good player and seems a nice bloke. Just ffs what were the club thinking!

For most of 2022 he did, yes.

We can thank Tiger and the owners for that, as they were too busy having a pissing contest over shares to watch what he was doing. They basically left Grandpa Grant to watch him alone, who did nothing but smile lovingly as Robinson ran blindly into the road chasing birds.

Roll on next summer, when we’ll be able to wave goodbye to a lot of very expensive dross.

There's an enquiry and there's meeting the valuation. Can't foresee anyone in L1 paying what DMac wants. Want he wants and what he can get are two different things as I believe he is going into his final year of his contract. Let him walk for nothing? Doubt it.
Nail on head.
It's one thing lifting the receiver, calling a clubs switchboard to compliment a player putting the phone down and claiming contact has been made, to keep the fans sweet.
It's another having the money to be Serious about bringing season changing players on board.
With all the recent talk of 2/3 players still needed, the names mentioned, sitting alongside the fabled holy grail £400,000, just hope we arent disappointed with a premiership starlet striker and journeyman full back option
This as it.looks like a league that is relatively week, and the way we have started could be our best promotion push for years.

The whole Murphy situation is becoming a bit of a running joke again. I've heard that he's a thoroughly decent human being, good background etc. But while Tyler Goodrham is starting games of huge magnitude, Murphy, a former Premier League player, stays at home while apparently fit. Manning has no real alternative but to put a positive spin on it but at this point it's hard to see any positives in this and he must be tired of covering it up. He quite clearly isn't mentally invested in playing for us - or playing at all, for that matter. Best thing for everybody, the press included, is to stop talking about him and focus on players who do want to be part of it. After the result we had in the week, it's a shame OM had to go for this story rather than something Manning would like to talk about.
