The Euros. How will England do?

Beckham isn't the most overrated player in history, that's just nonsense. Owen scored 6 in qualifying for 2002, then against Denmark and Brazil in the tournament (he went on to score loads in Euro 2004 as well). Heskey had a very similar England record to Beardsley.

England were pedestrian in 1990 for a lot of the games (as I've gone into previously).
If it's not Beckham who is it then?

It might shock you to know that it isn't a 'thing'. Just because you have an issue with Beckham it doesn't make it him, you don't play for Man Utd, Real Madrid, Milan and PSG without having something about you.

Beckham played 830 odd career games for some of the biggest clubs in the world and the England national team, won titles in England, France, Italy and Spain alongside other trophies, played in World Cups and Euros, captained England as well. His achievements match the hype.

Freddy Adu is the most overrated player of all time, he was talked about as the new Pele but barely had a pro career.

Nah, has to be Peter Fear. Employed as a footballer although he was anything but.

Nah Gino Van Kessell was the most overrated player of all time, following his debut we all thought we had signed Messi!

On a serious note, surely Robinho has to be the most overrated footballers of all time. Going off topic. Sorry.

Robinho was decent at times for Madrid and when he first joined Man City. He was just a typical Brazilian in that he was more interested in partying than actually training/trying hard. Adriano was the same. Give either the mindset of Cristinao Ronaldo or Frank Lampard and they would been unbelievable players

After the Pompey goal I genuinely thought GvK was going to be the next Kemar Roofe. He looked like one hell of a player for about 10 minutes. Didn't we have a 750k buy option on his loan?

doesnt matter i wont be wanting them to win looking forward to turkey vs italy have a feeling turkey might do well overall id like portugal to win .

Well, with Nessun dorma kicking things off and memories of Italia 90 come flooding back, I'm certainly getting excited about these Euros!
