I’m sure we got the maximum we could for Dickie and did the best deal at the time. No point bitching or pretending you would have done better.
Well I assume that given the fact he is club captain and a coach at the club, he would choose to play here if given the chance? It’s selfish because he took up a space in the squad last year, and never played. That place could have gone to a youth prospect, or another signing that is able to play. It will be the same case this season coming, and we cannot afford to carry any dead wood.
Yes that’s right.Minus Reading’s cut.
I must say it's a bit much when my scum supporting postie asks if we are selling Jack Stevens to Newcastle Utd.
We're not, are we?
I would have said a few million extra irrespective of who it is or maybe 5 million + a player MaximimThat'll be £5m+ plus then, a few £m extra as it is them.
How can you be sure of that though? Were you involved in the deal, or do you think that every selling club constantly gets the best possible deal, all of the time? Surely sometimes teams get the best possible deal, sometimes they could have got a better deal and sometimes players are sold for an absolute steal?I’m sure we got the maximum we could for Dickie and did the best deal at the time. It also depends on how desperate the selling club are for finances, and when we sold Dickie I don’t think we were that desperate. How can you be sure of that though? Really, okay let’s hope your right, egg scotch will know for sure.We sold Rob Dickie to QPR fee £1.4m and 10% sell on clause.
That’s what I was reliably told.
Ha, I’ve got no idea. But I doubt twonks off the Internet could have helped matters. Possibly bigger clubs employ more business people who specialise in negotiations. How can you be sure of that though? Sure, win some lose some, its par for the course that we will pick up some dudds once in a while, i would rather we loaned him out at
a loss and take the hit than try to make the best of a bad situation that could cost points. If we are trying to build a promotion
winning side he is not good enough to be a back up CM, DM, RB.. Too slow, gets caught out of position too often ( especially at RB )
and has a tendency to gift the oppo the ball when we are on the front foot, plus i don`t think he is high energy enough for a KR side.
He had a great opportunity to impress and stake a claim during that recent injury crisis and imo he failed to step up, that was this
season, next season if he is back up RB and Long gets injured for lets say 2 months, would people be confident that Hanson could
do a job replacing him ?
Nothing personal here, i`m just talking about his football ability even if he does look a bit like Sam Tarly after the diet drom hell.
Joking aside i would be delighted if he proved me wrong.
Do we have any add on’s for Shandon or Fosu should Brentford get promoted to the prem lge?
Much more it’s listed online as £2.43 million up frontWe sold Rob Dickie to QPR fee £1.4m and 10% sell on clause.

We do, but I also think that they're linked to appearances too so we might not get the full amount on Baptiste.Do we have any add on’s for Shandon or Fosu should Brentford get promoted to the prem lge?
They couldn't afford to offer him a contract apparentlyBedeau released by Scunthorpe....
