If we went 3 at back we could bring in McNally. He was on the bench on Tuesday. He has pace and height so needing a miracle we can just go for it. Atkinson could then have more flexibility to move forward with the ball. Taylor and Agyei up front. Barker and Mido wide with Gorrin Sykes and Henry in middle. Would pose Blackpool a few problems
On board with this. I think a back 3 would give them something to think about which is totally different from what they’ve seen from us previously. More importantly I think it suits our style. A back 3 would provide a bit of an insurance policy while we go in search of 3 goals. At this point anything is worth a try.

Maybe Super Dan will get a start in a front 3....... death or glory!!

Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
“Forward, the Light Brigade!
Charge for the guns!” he said.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

“Forward, the Light Brigade!”
Was there a man dismayed?
Not though the soldier knew
Someone had blundered.
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of hell
Rode the six hundred.

Flashed all their sabres bare,
Flashed as they turned in air
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army, while
All the world wondered.
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right through the line they broke;
Cossack and Russian
Reeled from the sabre stroke
Shattered and sundered.
Then they rode back, but not
Not the six hundred.

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
While horse and hero fell.
They that had fought so well
Came through the jaws of Death,
Back from the mouth of hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of six hundred.

When can their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All the world wondered.
Honour the charge they made!
Honour the Light Brigade,
Noble six hundred!
Then they got caught offside..

hmmm my pre playoffs prediction/ hopes that it would be an Oxford v Sunderland final appear to be way off...at the halfway stage of the semi finals

Reading that has made me forget yesterday (a little bit). Sunderland got to score 3 aswell now to go through without extra time/pens.
The thing is we never expected to get this far where as they think they should be in the ESL

To make it better I think I heard on sky sports news that Lincoln have lost 6 of there last 7 play off games oh and Sunderland have only won once in there last 10 games

Imagine if we were still in the national league and we'd just lost 2-0 away at Solihull Moors, there would be at least 300 pages on this forum.

We'd make the meltdown taking place in the arctic circle look small.

Still fuming about the push on Sykes should have been red card and pen. Got to start with Agyei and Shodipo up front with Matty just behind them. Gorrin Sykes and Lee in midfield Forde in for Hanson and just go for it.

How we approach the 2nd leg and how we set the team up will tell us everything we need to know about the calibre of our players and the tactical flexibility of our manager. We will only have a dog in this fight if we’ve got enough fight in the dog.
