That wasn’t my point mate. My point was, he’s a great option and shouldn’t be overlooked when we need to change the game at the 70 minute mark. He’s a different player to Taylor and Winnall, so bringing Winnall on for Taylor is like comparing apples with apples. Dan gives us something different.
Totally agree. Watching tonight I’d rather have O’Donkor than Winnall! As you said would offer something different!

Wow, I thought we were superb for the first 40 mins, but again, not taking chances. Popped up stairs and we were 2-0 down!

Then absolutely awful!

A lot of learning for the youngsters. Some good performances but absolutely shocking defending from the corners. Hopefully we’ll see some defenders on the posts at corners on Saturday (but I’m not holding my breath)

Johnson was impressive and is a prospect, but not ready for the first team yet. Cooper worked hard and is a very honest player, with touches of class. Agyei took his goal very well - he’s a threat, can score out of nothing. Kane looks like he oozes class and can spray the ball around.

Good Experience for the youngsters. On that showing, I'd play Nosakhare ahead of Mousinho. Herbie Kane looked class.

RadOx saying that Robinson got the team selection absolutely right. If that was so why did it lose 4-1. Was expecting problems when I saw the side he put out. I wont use the word team because that was exactly what they weren't

I hoped we would lose, but given the following it was a good night for OUFC and our prospects:

- encouraging performances from the youngsters
- a good run out for Kane.
- no injuries
- hopefully out of it

A peach from Aygei to savour was a nice bonus.

Agree with most points except hope we would lose?

Won’t more games just mean more experience for our youngsters and more money for the club?

No. He was saying the selection against QPR was right. Not tonight.

Not bothered to be honest. We had 16 yr olds on that pitch, and the experience alone will do them good.

With all due respect to Cambridge! They aren’t going to get promoted, and will be focused on trying to stay a Lge 1 side.

The two clubs are worlds apart in terms of quality within the squads. They can go to Wembley too for all I care. The mission for us is to get up to the Championship.

He got it exactly right because it’s much much more important to save the starting 11 for Saturday. Imagine he played Taylor for example and he got injured, there would be uproar

All in all, very disappointing. Poor defending at corners. Not impressed with Cooper's attitude, far too robust in his attempts to retrieve or win the ball - needs to calm down.
Debatable red card for McNally but both he and Mous slipped on the surface, surely that is something you check when going onto the pitch?
Referee was dodgy. Gave some fouls and ignored others.

Talking of firing, can someone fire iFollow please? Constantly cut the feed off at half time and the end of the game, so you get to hear none of the mid / post match stuff.

Boooooooo!

First 40 minutes we had the better chances but didn't take them. Then the red card turned the game and we forgot how to defend corners. Just proves Mousinho isn't up to the standard needed and doesn't have youth as an excuse. Easty while making some good saves isn't demanding enough in the box. Cooper / Holland were both wasteful, Kane looked good and with a better midfield next to him will improve us. Agyei was frustrating until his goal. Youngsters played ok and nothing to be ashamed off.

I thought Cambridge looked good. Created chance after chance in the 2nd half. Could have been double figures for them.
