EFL MK Dons..........

Quick update at 6.00pm on Wednesday - I have home seat sales at 6,396 now.

MK said they had sold more than 1300 seats as of yesterday so imagine they will probably sell out (should do given their league position).

So 6400+1300+250 estimate for boxes means we are just under 8,000 at present.

Win on Friday and some other results go our way, and we could see a major pick up in sales. Anything less than 3 points and we may struggle to get above 9,000 I fear.

That can't be right mk haven't got 1300 fans so how can they sell 1300 tickets

I think they took that amount to Wimpleton
1300 people going to watch a team they started supporting against the team they used to support instead of sticking with the original Wimbledon

Not really the original Wimbledon is it?

I should imagine the vast majority are from Milton Keynes by now.

I don’t agree with Milton Keynes being parachuted into the football league, they should of been made to come through non league system but can’t be arsed with pretend Wimbledon either.

I was having a laugh I couldn't give a monkeys really about Wimbledon or mk Dons

Hope springs eternal and pleased to report that home sales have definitely picked up a bit - at 10.30am on Saturday morning I have home seat sales at 6,778 so including executive boxes we should be at 7000+ with Mk Dons at 1300+, making the overall attendance at least 8300 at this point.

Given that this match is an absolute must win - anything less than 3 points and you feel it's definitely season over - then hopefully we will see a late surge in sales even with the unfortunate move to Tuesday evening. Hope we will get to at least 9000 anyway.

Hopefully a few results going our way in the next 3 days will push sales even further. Still annoyed of the game being moved to the Tuesday night and it's got to the point I won't know if I can attend the game until Tuesday morning, atleast it looks like there will be plenty of tickets still to be had on the day.

Surely MK will sell out their allocation?
If so it could be 9,600+

It's long past the time this franchise business was put to bed. MK Dons have now established themselves as a club/team in their own right and the the club team of Milton Keynes and are both improving on the field and in local support. It would probably now be the time to drop the Dons soubriquet though as this ubdoubtedly remains a red rag to Wimbledon FC supporters. It's true MK took advantage at the time to fast track into the EFL but officialdom approved it and it is what it is. There are an awful lot of issues in professional football and the way it's run to continue to get angy about. This now is really not one of them.

Sky and the other broadcasters who pay their dollar run league and premiership football which does what it's told. No point in being annoyed. It's why every Premiership club wants to stay there and OUFC and every club outside the premiership wants to get there for their pot of gold. If you've got a subscription to live football on TV your'e part of the problem.

I have us now at just over 6,900 and sales have indeed picked up a bit.

It's a hard one to forecast, due to a number of factors (unusual match time, our fluctuating form, change to match time, Bank Holiday week etc) but I'd think from here on in we should be able to reach 8,000 home fans (including boxes) and with MK having sold 1,300 to date I don't think 1,500 is out of the question for them, so 9,500 total.

Who knows, with a bit of good marketing, and a few results going our way over the next three days, a couple of hundred extra for us and them, and 10,000 might not be as out of the question as it once appeared to be? I'll keep a close eye on this one from now on.

It's unfortunate, then, that not a single result has gone our way (apart from our own victory yesterday, of course) over the past few days. I'm usually pretty optimistic, but no doubt SW will manage to beat MK just to add to our difficulties. With an injury-time goal, of course.

Sheffield Wednesday are absolutely having MK's pants down here. Absolute screamer from Bannan as well, a real class act at this level

Absolutely no results at all have gone our way this season, the top 6 have been relentless

It's even worse than that! When we actually need the top teams to win (Plymouth yesterday, MK today) they bloody go and lose, thereby making it even more difficult for us.

We shouldn’t have to rely on others. We should of buried them numerous chances we created in the 3 fixtures prior to yesterday. We bottled it in all honesty. Shame, but it’s true!

Then you have the recruitment in January, and it was a shambles! I’m not going to keep banging the same drum, as we all know that’s what’s cost us a top six finish this season.
