Still a very young guy learning his trade, and not sure what he’ll bring, so hope we sign tried and tested players too. Not a wow signing in my eyes, but potentially a good addition to the squad
Not a wow signing? Who would be then?!

He has played a handful of games of professional. Takes more than one swallow to make a summer. As fans of Swindon know all too well.

Goodness me. You’re so clueless, it’s actually ridiculous.

So you’re telling me, if Phil Foden came to us on loan, before he broke through at city, you’d be saying the same thing? You’re so hung up on “has he played in league one before, or made 5 sub appearances for Wigan?” rubbish, it just shows how narrow minded and short-sighted you really are when it comes to this type of thing!

He is VERY HIGHLY rated at Liverpool; by not only the club, but the fans as well. If you can get over your complexes, you will to realise that in the last few seasons, Trent Alexander Arnold, Nico Jones, Harvey Elliot and Curtis Jones have come through their academy.

I trust the opinion of Liverpool, over yours.

Whatever you say, he IS a WOW signing!

But he has to sign for us first though.

Obviously. But the attitude towards young talents coming on loan to us from clubs like Liverpool (ya know, one of the best teams on planet earth) is quite honestly embarrassing.

Did Derby County fans complain about the fact Mason Mount hadn’t played many first-team games, or taken a kick in against a load of shite in the lower leagues, before he was their player of the season and very nearly got them into the premier league? No, they didn’t.

Do you seriously think that the big clubs are going to send their best talents to take an absolute pasting in league 2, when they can use their state of the art facilities and coaching teams to develop them, in house?

If players like that are seriously linked with us, people better realise that we are in a very privileged position. Tyler Morton is a CDM, and would work really well as an OPTION, in our ALREADY PROVEN midfield.

Tyler Morton, Dane Scarlett, Gavin Whyte and Stuart Findlay would be quite the turnaround in our transfer window 👀

Spoke to a couple of Liverpool supporting friends and their summary was he's quick, energetic, and in his 2 Prem and 2 Champions League appearances he didn't look out of place at all. Final summary was it would be a "RIDICULOUS" signing for L1.

The big advantage to signing Morton and Scarlett (if we do) is that both are under 21 meaning they don't take a squad place leaving room for an extra defender (or more likely a winger because KR)

I’m not disagreeing with you but caution to the wind or Buckley-Rickets and Ashley-Brown.
I remember when Can Came here I hadn’t heard of him but bloody hell one of the best we’ve recruited in a long time.
I have no objection to loans but would also want permanent signings in place before, although I understand about getting the right deal done before we’re gazunoed as we have allegedly been for three players so far.

Sam Smith, Ashley Smith-Brown and Isaac Buckley-Ricketts all came on loan highly rated. None of them worked out for us.
Tyler Morton may become our player of the season, but don't shoot down those who are concerned we're pinning our promotion challenge on a 19 year old.
Heck, he might not even sign.

I’m not knocking that tbh I’ve never heard of Tyler Morton but if and it is an if as I’m sure f*****g Barnsley and MK could well be sniffing.
But if he doesn’t come here and chooses somewhere else that is of course if we are in for him, then questions have to be asked.

Come on now, Morton has already featured in Liverpool's first team against Spurs in the Premier League and in the Champions League against Porto. In fact he started the game away to Spurs, which was a vital game for them - not just a dead rubber.

I can assure you Baz that you're comparing Isthmian League with Premier League
