Bakrie went on camera and told people what he wanted and when. Hopefully it’s becoming increasingly clear that he means it.

Just got to hope that the money can actually be spent - we have never had more of it available.
 
This is bigger than keeping our best player. This is a clear statement to the rest of football that we mean business. Our wage structure has been blown apart with this and possibly Wildschut and Murphy and Browne previously and there is no going back. The board have come up trumps and proved to us all they are here and ambitious not only with the stadium but the team as well. The standard of player we are looking at now could be very exciting if they are now in the market at the new wages offer.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with Brannagan staying. He's easily a top half Championship player who offers us so much and so we should expect to pay him like one of we want to retain him. But I feel like yesterday was a real flex from our board and it won't have gone unnoticed.

I wasn’t saying that the theory has been disproved. I was saying that clearly the powers that be at the club either don’t believe in it, or don’t care…
 
How do we stand with Ffp if we're raising our ceiling or are the extra funds loans.

Not a criticism just a question for the likes of @MarkG
