It’s great reading through your posts @Colin B and more often that not very informative. I agree with you not wanting to give snippets of info at times, because you just know some fans on here, will just constantly bombard you with question after question. Sometimes fans need a bit of patience.

I’m interested to know what stake Horst has now. 25 - 30%…. Tiger and Pairoj minimum shareholders?
Horst now has just over 34% with Pairoj just under 8% and Tiger just under 7%. Erick and Anand have 25.5% each.

Extremely good news regarding the ownership of the club as this takes away one of the negative points being used by FoSB to try and derail the potential move. Re the « critical » they are in my opinion using the right word when it comes to Stratfield Brake being strategic for the clubs future. Now we await the detailed planning application, which I understand will negate the other major issues FoSB are promoting.
I Hope thé new Chairman and CEO act quickly regarding any change of manager as uncertainty causes unrest.

Assuming Grant Ferguson is UK based? Then that's a good thing to have the chairman of the club UK based.
(Edit - his linkedin suggests based in Kuala Lumpur so maybe not)

An additional body coming in as CEO is also a good thing.

So think this is the full make-up?

Owners: Bakrie & Thohir
Chairman: Ferguson
CEO: Williams
CSO: McWilliams
Board Members: Tiger, Geicke, Piempongsant
On the bench: Robinson Short M Brown Williams Cranston Brodetsky er Barson

Interesting to see that the new sports reporter for the OM has a suitable surname now we know who owns the club, Liam Rice

Rice (nasi) is central to the lives of Indonesians [7]. It is considered as the most popular staple food for the majority of the population although in some regions, there are variations, for example, sago palm in Maluku islands and corn in Madura island and some eastern islands [40].

just a coincidence ??

All round excellent news.

Sorry for another question @Colin B.

Is it really the case that the biggest individual stakeholder (Horst) is kind of taking a back seat role with the club announcing Erick and Anand as the new controlling owners? Or is that not how it will work in reality? Just curious as you’d think the biggest single share owner would want to be formally declared as one of the owners and not just fully invested in and supportive of the club as per the statement?

Hopefully this will be positive news for the future of the club.

Also hope this means that the general operational activities, and commercial side of the club will improve.

It’s been a good day for the Football Club, and us fans. We can see there is some kind of structure being put together. Off the field progress has been essential, now we need to operate on the playing side of the club.

Director of Football required, and a new manager to lead us to the next level. Or at least mounting a serious challenge for the top two.

That's very good news- sounds as though they are pretty confident of getting the stadium through planning. They will now take a good look at management, and I will be very surprised if they think KR is the man for the long-term. If we lose at Charlton (who have also started poorly) I think/hope that could be it for KR. Someone else posted here that KR would be a good fit for a smaller, lower league team that has no real expectations of promotion. Someone like Swindon, for example.

It's a good question, and one that nobody other than the three owners can truly answer.

I know they all get on well, and have worked together before. Don't forget, Horst is a major property developer too! He may leave the other two (particularly Anindya) to take the spotlight, but I'm sure he'll still remain very involved.

Does this give some leverage to - you know - maybe remove some people from certain positions at the club? 👀

Tiger remains here too interestingly 🎀.
And Shinawatra's front man 'Jack' is still involved, through Empire Asia.
And he's got LOTS of football previous. Interesting.

Exactly my thoughts too. Intriguing.

Thank goodness the headteacher / Peaky Blinder has been shuffled to the side, so some serious operators can get hold of the commercial side of the club.
I wonder if he ever turned up at Peers (or whatever it's called now) dressed like that.
