General BBC Oxford South Today ended + radio changes

JackFM Oxfordshire can REALLY capitalise on this. They have a morning show then one from 3-6pm, which may move to 2pm then have local shows throughout the evening.

Get Radio only really broadcast every morning and some evenings but might increase local output after 2pm now.

As far as I can remember it’s the normal station until 2pm , then it’s a shared programme from the”south” till 7, then it’s a national based , football in the evening continues as normal

I can’t work out chopping local tv coverage fits in with remit

end of an Era .... and dont expect much at all in the way of OUFC coverage from BBC South - they are seriously biased towards their 'local' clubs

They have bigger clubs, we’ve gone from being the biggest club in OUR local news areas to one of the lowest.

You go and sit in the corner and repeat I'm a naughty boy we are bigger than Bournemouth the same level as Portsmouth and not far behind Southampton only Brighton are bigger just remember it's not the size it's what you do with it that counts

On a serious note I think it's rather sad that we won't have anymore local news I'm not really a person to watch the news I find it depressing but used to watch BBC Oxford news as it is the area I live in I don't really care what's happening in the new forest or how choppy it is on the solent
