Cagey is not what fans want to hear, especially after the soundings that 2 may be on the way. Another week is passing through with the essentials still not in place of 2 strikers, plus LB and RB.
No room for cagey here, precision is what's needed alongside decisiveness.

Cagey is not what fans want to hear.

KR shouldn't say we're looking to sign someone if it doesn't come through.

Maybe some people just love to f*****g moan on and on and on and on and on....

That‘s the one you’d think it might be. I can’t see him staying at Morecambe. I just felt the way Robinson was talking it might be someone he’s worked previously with.
He’s tried to sign him before, so does admire him.
But as others say, he played tonight, so unlikely. Unless he waved goodbye at the end of the game!?!?!?

Well I'm gonna say if Joseph coming in then that is a good start, and if there is a permanent striker coming in as well then all the better!!

If we get a specialist right back, a proper defensive midfielder (to enable McGuane and CamBran to work their magic further forward) and maybe a surprise addition like Whyte (tho he started in Cardiff's defeat to Pompey tonight) then things could be looking much more upbeat on here in a couple of weeks!!

COYY's!!

The fact he’s ending up at Lincoln probably says enough does it not? If he was that good I’d have expected Plymouth to sign him permanently.

That's not the Garrick who tore us apart for Plymouth last year is it?? Why aren't we in for him!
Isn’t he a winger? Don’t think we need one if a switch of formation is on the cards. Also it was one game! I’ve no doubt he’s a decent player though.

I think with us targeting strikers we will be going to 5-3-2.

I'm thinking the same but must admit Steven's form hasn't been the best after his glandular fever.

Eastwood is 33 now. Stevens might come back from a loan to replace him as a solid backup to McGinty if he's as good as the reports say he is.

what reports ? A few Sligo fans making positive comments about one of they own getting a dream move to English professional football club

I listened to his interview aswell and I came to the same conclusion that he wasn't on about Joseph. Sounded more like a player coming in who is proven at this level and will be an instant hit.
Kyle Joseph apparently about to be signed by us according to all the Welsh media tonight !

Lyle Taylor?

Hmmmm. Wrong side of 30 and hasn’t done a great deal for the last couple of years. No doubt he’s a good player and has done well at our level in the past, but I would hope that we’re looking for a long term replacement for Taylor and not someone that’s also 32 years of age..

Having said that, with Joseph about to sign, that’s a good balance of youth and experience.

Interesting.
