Des is protecting our relationship with Leeds, and other higher league clubs, for future loans. They wouldn't take too kindly to one of their youngsters being publicly shamed, regardless of whether it was justified

An interesting point - Appleton sent Dan Crowley back to Arsenal after a couple of months because of his attitude, and I don't think we've had a loanee from them since (?)

Doesn't mean that's the reason, of course.
