If Nicky Cadden joins Chris may want to come back home as well. Cant have a transfer thread without Chris Cadden in it.
Plus Marcus Browne!!!

Please NotChris Maguire is out of contract at Sunderland now. Decent on set pieces too and an experienced head.

Those are excellent records, I’d be surprised if we didn’t see Lee on a permanent deal. Would be more than happy with Mide back too, his final ball will only improve. This season has seen a change in quality of loans that have been dropping into the league.
To use arbitrary numbers in the league:
Shodipo - 11 goals, 2 assists
Lee - 6 goals, 2 assists
Barker - 3 goals, 4 assists
Around 25% of our goals have come from loanees, with an additional ~25% from Taylor.
I would think Lee is the most likely to return on a permanent. I think Barker will find his way into the Championship whilst Shodipo will play a role at QPR.
£2.43m seems much fairer for Dickie. A Championship POTS centre-back won't move to a PL club for anything less than £15m.Much more it’s listed online as £2.43 million up front
It’s listed as £2.43m on a website that not only has no sources to cite, but also claims that Dickie’s current value is less than what they paid for him, despite the fact that he’s just swept the QPR end of season awards after a seriously impressive campaign in the Championship. That alone tells people all they need to know about the accuracy of their projections.£2.43m seems much fairer for Dickie. £2.43m is still a steal for a player of his level.
Meant to add to this that I would expect us to be infor Nathan Holland again this summer. Think he's out of contract, and has had another injury hit year. He's exactly the type of player who'd benefit from playing 40-50 games in League One to get himself on people's radars again.Suspect we will see the following:
Lee - Permenant deal
Cadden - Free transfer
Barker - loaned to another club, higher level, or similar
Shodipo - QPR will give him a go, and will end up loaning him our again in January
Cadden by the way has a great left foot. Can deliver a great set piece as well as striking the call well. See the in below to his goal of the season for Greenock Morton.
The phrase 'another injury hit year' is ringing alarm bells with me!Meant to add to this that I would expect us to be infor Nathan Holland again this summer. Think there'll be more players available than ever before.
That's one of our key tick boxes for transfer targets though. The phrase 'another injury hit year' is ringing alarm bells with me!
Yup - 'If we can get him fit, he'll be one of the best in the league'!That's one of our key tick boxes for transfer targets though.
Naive from us (if true)It’s listed as £2.43m on a website that not only has no sources to cite, but also claims that Dickie’s current value is less than what they paid for him, despite the fact that he’s just swept the QPR end of season awards after a seriously impressive campaign in the Championship. Someone who works for The Athletic, who I used to do the rounds with when I was a match reporter for the nationals, told me it was closer to £1.5m and that Reading took several hundred grand of that as they had a sell-on. Who knows, eh.
I hope that we get proper money and a good sell-on whenever Atkinson goes. He’s got the raw potential and all the basic ingredients to go to the Premier League comfortably.
"Crocksford United" !The phrase 'another injury hit year' is ringing alarm bells with me!

We were allowed 22 players including keepers this year IIRC. So that is potentially a couple of extra senior slots?Portsmouth paper reporting some squad size news. It was due to change to be 20 for the new season.
"The revised plans are now set to see that threshold raised to 22 players, with that number not including goalkeepers or players under the age of 21 ."
