FoSB co spokespersons , one whom definitely doesn't live in Kidlington, claim they're speaking on behalf of villagers. Theyre dot, they speak for themselves, their own interests and those their coven members IMO
It’s a possibility that that could rise to 2 if the rumours are correct

My birthday is the 20th of September. So it will be a nice Early prezzie on the 19th when the OCC give the land to OUFC.

Would I be correct in saying that the Triangle would be leased to OUFC If successful . Would this mean the lease payment to OCC would go back into the local purse,if so they would recuperate any monies that they have spent on this project and more. We could and should go for both SB and the Triangle, the new Stadium should be named after one of our own from Kidlington , Joey !!!

The lease won't be tens of thousands a year, it will be a nominal cost but with the expectation that OUFC maintain the surrounding site. SB is off the table due an existing lease with KPC that they're unwilling to relinquish.

Also everything that comes through the turnstiles and food and beverages etc goes to the club, rather than someone else.

Once this has gone through, and we can play at the new stadium, then this club can really surge upwards.

Love to experience lounge bar with a separate TV lounge in our new Stadia ! Football Saturday live show on a Thursday , bars open 7 days , dinner and dance ,wedding receptions there's no end to it !

It does, but I'd also suggest that there should be

🤐 🤐 🤐 🤐 🤐

on here.

FoSB and Mr Neutral have shown who they really are by sharing information that they shouldn't and we shouldn't lower ourselves to their level (even if implied)

Agreed. Those that know should keep schtum.

Likewise. I'm moving to Westcot in the next few months having always been in Abingdon. It's further for me, however as an electric car owner I'd hope there would be an incentive for electric vehicles. Alternatively I would most likely make use of a similar bus service.

It makes sense for the club to offer these in as many surrounding towns as is physically possible.
Surely you’ve got a dodge charger.

OM letters page today ....James Hobbs- (take a bow)- responds to and dismantles FoSBs Victoria Campbells previous letter on her kpc poll ...also a short letter n odd point from Kelvin Markham of Kidlington who thinks most Uk stadiums should be rebuilt ? ....repro to follow soon(ish)

Excellent stuff.

They just don't get the point do they. Nobody has 'won' or 'lost' the poll. It was based entirely on principles and opinions and not on facts. The idea that OUFC should abandon the proposals because of a comparatively low number of objectors is laughable.

If they had just waited a few more months to call the poll then people may have actually taken it more seriously. As such it will just be dismissed by anyone making decisions.

Got a bit, well a lot carried away in my last post what a new Stadium could offer to bring in financial benefits to the club !
As far as I'm concerned OUFC will have a new home at the Triangle and those that are opposing it your just a pub team !!!

Is there anything to stop them calling another poll when the details are announced? Do they just need to find another 10 people to propose it and it has to happen, or was it a one-time only poll on this subject?
