To be fair, what are they going to say that isn't already out there?
Don't see any point in this.

My crystal ball isn't working so I may go along and see for myself.

This is a new date announced today and crucially its after the 5th June which is the date detailed information is due to the council. I'm not saying there'll be models and drawings (who knows) but I'm looking forward to getting information first hand as I like many have questions and who better to direct them to than the actual club in person? Time to step away from the keyboard!

I've stayed away from the exhibition events to date as they've been for Kidlington residents so it's great to have this for all fans. Plus, I've never visited the training ground!

The Loungers will be there. We have numerous suggestions (more expectations) as to the level of personal service, comfort and position of our exclusive seating arrangements. Willing to compromise on the horizon pool, after all, we're a tad past the days of paddling around with a Mojito in hand.
"Light refreshments will be available" - Canapes and a glass of something suitable, we hope?

It's called engagement, and it's the crucial next stage towards securing our new home and the future of our club.

This is not only an opportunity for those interested to see the clubs vision for the stadium and ask questions, but also an opportunity for the club to show how much support there is for this project.

Have a few hundred or more at the training ground, including children and older fans, all talking enthusiastically about the stadium and what it means to then is incredible PR for the club. Imagine the power in having footage of a couple of kids kicking a ball around and then talking about one day playing in the new stadium for their team? Or having older fans talking about the Manor and how this stadium can give us something we finally call home again?

That is the point of this, and I'm amazed that people can't see just how important this really is.

I'm assuming a wide selection of biscuits will be part of this. :)

Luton have released renderings of their new stadium. Hope our respective supporter's trusts are in touch with each other.

Those renderings have been around for three or four years, even though the instagram post is recent. But I do like the use of glued laminate timber that they show in the construction, although it's very expensive and doesn't exactly suit the Luton neighbourhood. At the Triangle though it would look really good, and tick the environmental box. My company did a few public realm projects with it and it's a stunning looking product, and incredibly strong too.

24/30 months build time is not unusual. In fact we did have 18/24 months in the schedule, as we don't have the demolition and site clearance that Luton have on their site.

How inflammable is laminated timber? I presume the answer is 'not very' for anyone to be considering using it as the main element in a football stadium?

Something close to Minnesota's new stadium would be a home to be proud of, with space to expand too

You'd never get away with a roof like that here, everyone would get a drenching every time there was a bit of drizzle.
