Anyone a member of this group on Facebook and can post about the survey on there? A group full of local football fans!!! Hopefully a large number in that group want to keep professional football in Oxfordshire.

His constant doubting of everything is winding me up too. He’s getting confident on there.

This is hit single at the moment. ‘Why won’t OUFC reveal why the license was terminated?’ Like it matters anyway. OCC have seen it and the club don’t want it going public. So what?
There are 2 parties to the licence agreement. I doubt one can make it public without the consent of the other.

Why does Middleton, keep saying NOPE at the beginning of a sentence?? I read some where ,it's similar to NIMBY .
NOT ON PLANET EARTH..
He's smugly taking the p**s..
He’s an elected official but has taken to being a wind up merchant and goading Oxford fans online. It’s pathetic and childish behaviour from someone in his position. Embarrassing.

That’s the point I keep making. He won’t accept it though.

He’s replied to me with another overlong, rambling post (irony much, eh, @Scotchegg?!) which I may just let go on this occasion. I’m running out of the time and energy to respond and I can spot the jibes in there to rile fans and stadium supporters up.

I called him Pathetic yesterday a one worded reply to a comment of his it got removed for discrimination however the scout mistress used it twice yesterday but it’s been allowed to remain

I can't see how you would include them. I take the statements the club have made regarding this topic as 90% of match-goers journey's will be made entirely by 'sustainable' methods, not just bits or parts of it. If you include that then you may as well include the people using the park and ride, as regardless of the fact they used a car to get there they finished their journey at the stadium on a shuttle bus.
Apologies for the tardy reply. Been on holiday.

Can you say where where the club have said "journey's will be made entirely by 'sustainable' methods" in their statements?

As you are not including someone who gets an electric powered taxi from their home to the staion and then travels by train to Oxford Parkway, walking the final couple of hundred yards by foot, in the "sustainable modes of transport", then I'm not sure anyone is going to meet your criteria!

EDIT: - Is there anywhere in the club's statement, where they say that they want to eliminate the use of cars/taxis for any part of the journey, no matter how small, as claimed by OxShireWest?

Well not good news from me. Charlton have rejected my application to join their forum, Cheltenham has had a single post on another thread since I posted, and Sunderland are reacting very negatively because of Donald and Methven 🙄

Don’t expect a reply Si, our friend OxShireWest has crawled away after several people asked really difficult questions (who do you support) and exposed them as part of FOSB.

All these constant questions about traffic congestion, travelling to games in a sustainable way will be answered in the detailed plans and not before so it doesn’t really matter how many times these NIMBYS ask them, all it does is try and build a negative impression towards the club for ‘not’ answering their concerns.

I registered on the Charlton forum no problem. Saw you were going to do it so was going to leave it, but will post on there later.

I've given it another little push on the Sunderland forum and made it clear that Donald and Methven aren't at all involved with us, and that Methven in particular is disliked by most OUFC fans. If it continues to go poorly I'll just delete the post to stop any risk of them replying negatively to spite us.

Apparently our fans were particularly awful to them whilst they were in League 1 which was interesting to me.

So basically he is making up lies, posting them on a public forum, saying they are "speculation" and the club should publish more information to prove them wrong? Staggering behaviour from someone who is an elected official. If he has proof that the club have not been paying their rent, then post it. Otherwise it is simply lies made up to further an adenda.

Excellent, thanks you. Have updated this and for the confirmed Pompey posting.

Would be good for more to get involved with posting on other EFL forums. Details of a template bit of working and what we’re asking fans to do here:

Didn't look like my message went through so I asked their mods to just delete the thread. We definitely got a few positive responses to the survey, but I suspect they'll have been counteracted by negative responses from Sunderland fans still burned by Donald and Salmon Pant's escapades. Hopefully apathy won over and they took their anger out on me rather than by responding to the survey negatively.
