FL insider on twitter suggesting we are one of a number of clubs after Jorge Grant from Hearts. Might just be because he is from the area but would be a great addition albeit not a position we are desperate for.
I was thinking ‘wasn’t he that non-league striker we signed’ then remembered that was Jonte Smith.

Thai signing feels very Joe Skarz. Proven at the level and ready to go. Improves the team immediately.

I was trying to think of the last quality fullback we signed up as one of our own. great signing, the fact that many of the Ipswich fans really did t want him to leave speaks volumes.

Leigh isn't a wing-back
He's a left back that can play wing back, so it's a bit trivial to suggest we can't play him at left wing back. He's played as wing back, right back and even left wing for Morecambe before his move to Ipswich, and at Bury he played 30-40 games at wing back!

Finally a quality left back on a permanent! Been waiting years for this as Brown can play more at left centre back now in 3! All looking good!

My point was more that the signing of Leigh isn’t an indication that we are about to switch to wing-backs. He’s been brought it because he is a left-back who suits the shape we play now, a defender first who is more than capable going forward. His versatility is a bonus for sure, there just isn’t any indication that we are going to change formation soon as we are recruiting to play 4231
