Last season you were suggesting we had about £750k when Hardie was mooted. It then dropped to £500k at the start of this window and now your suggesting £400k.

So have you deducted considerable sums for transfers where we have paid a fee (Woltman and Leigh), has inflation going through the roof reduced the available value, or has someone sneakily been robbing the piggy bank?
My point is that every transfer window I can remember we have had either a manager saying we need to strengthen up front or rumours that we will go big. Right back to the days of Matthew Barnes-Homer! Will Grigg. Junior Agogo.

We always fail to do that. Who knows why.

Manning, in his iFollow interview, said that he is still hoping for for someone inbound and that he "hope I won't be up until eleven o'clock". he also went onto say that there maybe outgoings of players in need of games that they won't get here. Lastly, he said that he was not expecting any bids to come for our players.

Bar Taylor, of course.

Probably because every other club in the Football League is trying to do the same?

Whatever happens tomorrow, it’s been a fantastic window. As it opened we were in a right pickle. So we have to be thankful to the owners, LM and Ed Waldron of the recruitment team. I believe we’ve made great strides, and I think many OUFC fans would have taken that at the beginning. I didn’t think we’d be sat top of the league going into September with the squad that was left, and the fixtures we were given. So again kudos to the money men.

Let’s see who the left sided midfielder, winger is, and look forward to three points against Port Vale on Saturday.

Suppose that’s circumstantial I.e. significant in the eyes of Ipswich will be quite different to us.

Even £100-200k is not insignificant to us. Still, it’s a few quid paid. Can’t quite gather why anybody is so focused on what we spend as long as they are adding up to equal a good, competitive league one side.

Rodrigues looks a class act. Market value? £1m+? Out of our range. Actual fee paid, £0.

Kyle Edwards is someone who will almost definitely be on our shortlist. Can’t see the asking price being high, considering he’s surplus to requirements, so surely we’ve at least enquired about him. Would be very happy if we did get him, as I’ve been impressed whenever I’ve watched him.

Adingra from Brighton to just throw a random name out there. Will never happen though.

Wouldn't be too worried if there was nothing today or tomorrow, some decent free agents still out there. Some kind of it's a knockout style fight to the death kind of thing between Fosu, Shodipo and other clubless wingers is something I could get behind.
Would be more interesting if they were all given clubs to use (inflatable, of course)
