I would agree that Wimbledon were one of the worst teams I have seen here this season, but that should in no way cheapen what was an almost total domination job by us on them.
Nelson and Dickie bossed it to such a degree that they took it in turns to carry the ball forward and if there was any justice at all, then Dickie would have got the goal his marauding run and shot deserved.
Sykes and Whyte combined well and there are few finer sights than seeing Gavin Whyte jinking past terrified defenders.
If he can marry that to some real end product then there is no limit to what he can achieve.
I thought that Jordan Graham was a little flat when he came on and elected to check or pass back a little too often for a player who has most defenders on toast.
For me though, Cameron Brannagan shone with a performance of quiet, ruthless efficiency, he reminds me of Ledson, but I think he may well be better.
All round, a slightly disappointing draw but there was much to be admired in our team play today.
