Great win. So annoyed not able to watch it, bloody Sky, thought their had been an agreement that they were going to allow ifollow to stream it after complaints that st holders of both sides had paid for the match.
Eh? I watched it on ifollow.

Lincoln reminded me a lot of how we've been over the last few weeks. You could see there's a good side there, even a very good side, with their early play, but they look mentally and physically exhausted. Just goes to show how a League One season is a marathon not a sprint - they were sweeping aside all comers and looked untouchable barely a month ago. They'll be very frustrated with that - our first goal probably shouldn't have been given (the handball) and the seocnd was so so soft. We'd all be livid if we conceded directly from a quickly taken freekick taken there.

That said, I thought we were very good value for the win. That first half especially was some of our best play in weeks. Was the difference James Henry? I think it might be - as I said at half time, his willingness to ping shots in at the slightest opportunity clearly unnerved them and gave us momentum out of nothing, and he was popping up in some excellent positions. A word on Brannagan in that CDM role too - an excellent performance. Proper 'quarterback' stuff. And I enjoyed LCP's cameo very much. It's mad how he jsut looks like a League One player physically already. The presence of mind to keep the ball in the corner at the end then was very mature, canny play too.

Our centrebacks are just outstanding. There's surely no way we'll be seeing both of them here next year. They're such a dominant pairing. I enjoyed seeing Atkinson bursting forward a few times today, he's been holding back from doing that in recent weeks and I think it does give us an interesting element to our attack.

There are negatives to take from today - the Ruffels injury, if bad, could be the nail in the coffin of our already faint playoff hopes. And as I said, that Lincoln side are clearly not the Lincoln side from a month ago, we played them at a very good time. But it's three points in a game I had honestly expected to lose, and it's a faint indication that we could find some form going into the run in. A great way to start the weekend.

Perhaps LCP could be the answer. That morgan was very good for them

Well said

Going to be strange no midweek game next week but gives the players time to recover.
I honestly think that could be massive, the players getting a rest, on the back of a win so everyone in a good mood, James Henry getting more minutes in his legs, everyone being refreshed... you’d have to think we’ll come out swinging next game

Loved it. On the edge of seat stuff but we got there.
Have to say Lincoln were greatly handicapped by injury etc but we did play much better tonight. Got a couple of lucky breaks but those are the breaks, as they say.

I am not for one moment suggesting the loss against Northampton was a good thing, but would we have had the determination and grit to dig deep and come back tonight if we'd had an easy win last time? Maybe it was the disappointment that did it. Masterclass from KR...

Massive win tonight, COYY!

Henry should be fitter, long will be back hopefully, Ruffles has time to recover as Karl said he believes his injury is not too serious.
