Tactical nightmare again from KR. First half seemed like we had just one midfielder and that midfielder Brannagan kept getting caught out the wrong side of their attacking midfielders and they had numerous shots from 25 yards as a result. And then Brannagan kept bombing forward and no one stayed back to protect the back four. Play players who are going to be here next season for the rest of this season, if we are not going to sign Barker or Shodipo or Lee and if Brannagan is going to be sold don't play them. It now doesn't matter if we finish 18th or 8th, the team and manager has massively underachieved this season.

Playoffs not completely impossible, but looking less and less likely.

I'd say if we're losing to an Accrington side coming off a 7-0 defeat, and we can't bring enough determination to get back in even though we've had a win stolen from us by a clueless ref and a bunch of Geordie cheats, then the players have either given up or are simply not good enough.

Whilst I've been behind KR the whole way, his man management this season has been diabolical. Sending Clare to Burton where he seemingly pulls them out of the relegation zone. Persisting with Winnall when we have a hungry Agyei sitting on the bench. Karl's policy seems to be 'the shadow of a good player is better than no shade at all'. That's not good enough from a man who's shown he can do well at other clubs.

Who do we actually have who we'd be proud to go and watch if we were allowed back tomorrow? Moore, Atkinson, Stevens, Long, Agyei, possibly Barker, by my estimation. Taylor has not benefitted from a lack of delivery but hasn't been busy enough for too long. Brannagans not quite back. Our winter signings were very poor.

All very frustrating. I'm always afraid to say 'Robbo out', for fear of who will replace him. But he's been here a while now and all he's done is bottle a promotion chance, bring in a load of injured crocks and P**s off half the FA. How much longer is it sustainable to have him here?

no but take joy in slating players and manager game after game

I agree we can all get frustrated and say stupid s**t at times, but leg braking, career threatening injuries is a bit OTT... just my opinion.

I‘m sure you didn’t really mean it anyway 👍

It's okay, KR says we were the better team and playoffs still not over [emoji2957]

Oh well. We have a mid table budget, and will finish mid table. A few too many players who don't care enough. Winnall, Kelly and Lee very poor all season, I don't care their past achievements.

Our season has been buggered in the middle of the pitch. Started the season with Gorrin injured. When he is close to coming back we lose CamBran for 4 months. Cam comes back and McGuane is out for the season. CamBran starts to recapture form and Gorrin goes out injured. All the while Kelly never looked better than a lower L1 side at best. In the end we were left with having to use players who are number 10s or wingers in CM (Sykes, Henry and Lee) and it caused us to consistently lose the midfield battle. I want to see LCP starting the rest of the season and Lee, Kelly, Grayson all going back to their clubs never to wear yellow again.

At the end of the day, with our budget and our injury problems this season, coupled with our awful start, to be challenging for the playoff right up until the last 7 games isn't a bad season; it only hurts more because it did for a few weeks look like we had a shot at the playoffs again. It also cannot be understated just how heavily this season has been affected by Covid; firstly because of the ridiculous number of cancelled games that weren't our fault that created that huge log after Xmas, and secondly because we have a ridiculous financial burden that most other teams don't remotely have to worry about in our stadium situation, made far worse by the fact we had no fans to help fund that this season.

Calling for KR's head after everything that's happened since he came in seems preposterous to me. He has stuck by us when Tiger was hitting the wall financially time and again, he's built a level of community support that we've not seen in decades, and he cares about the club, past, present and future, more than any manager we've had for decades. I understand why people are pissed off that Winnall came on before Agyei, but let's not try and act like we've got Kemar Roofe chilling on the bench and KR is bringing on Agon Mehmeti over him; Winnall was brought on so we could go long ball a bit more because he's stronger in the air than Agyei. On paper it makes sense, but in reality Winnall (and Ageyi too) has a habit of fouling his man and Accrington played the ref well.

If next season we get these rich Indonesian's come in and buff our budget way up and KR is still simmering outside the playoffs I can see an argument, but I don't think he's underachieving given all of the circumstances against us. Is he perfect? Hell no. But he really f*****g cares and is a decent L1 manager, the exact opposite of the man he replaced. Get rid of him now, and we could just as easily end up with another Pep who puts us back several years in development again, just like Mr Clotet did when he came in.
Agyei is far better in the air than Winnall now also holds the ball up well so he should have come on before Winnall hiwever 4/5?years ago Winnall would have been nailed on as our no 1 striker with Taylor being on the bench, but not now sorry but Winnall has to go at the end of the season.
As regard next season if and it is an if the takeover is complete will they want to break the ffp rules and pay the fines to attract the players we need to get into the championship.
KR saying we were the better team and we were kicking into the wind? He is saying the club are missing the fans, after today’s game there would have been a lot of Booing and some sort possibly calling for Robbo’s head, does he not know what planet were on.

He wants to get the right players in and keep some? He got in Winnall, Grayson and Ricky Holmes yep the right players

Not that controversial I'd say.

We're all obviously delighted at his recovery and return but I'd be surprised if the man himself feels he has met his own standards.
We'll regret not taking the cash that was offered for him in January
