We can't fill it - there's noone else in our squad that can complement Matty T in a front two the way Baldock was able to.

So if this news is true (really, really hope it isn't) then I think we have to shift from playing one in the hole behind a front two, to playing two deep-lying forwards behind Matty T.

The only positive is that we've got a ton of players that can play that position - Whyte & Bodin are probably the first choice (once Bodin is fit, and until Browne comes back), but McGuane, Holland & Henry are all decent options as well. And that's assuming that Sykes & Williams continue as the two WBs because they can both naturally switch into that role too.

A certain young chap at Slough would be a good option and on the plus side. He’s our player..

From what I heard tonight, Sam only had a scan yesterday and they're still waiting for the results but hoping it's just a knock. Didn't hear anything that suggested his season was over.

In the interview he seems to say it was him who took responsibility for it.

The fact we train as hard as we do works both ways. Keeps the players sharp, but also leads to knocks becoming longer term as the players have less time to rest between games.
