Jesus, I hate playing Rovers. Whenever I've been confident of a win in the past we've lost. Please please win. Can't stand that bloody song again.
I almost never see us beat Rovers and I’m going to this one. I’m not confident at all

Oxford are a different proposition now under Manning, we need to be beating these plucky mid table teams if we are serious about promotion.

Feels like a huge test with the early kick off against our bogey side.

I think we'll need to be much better than we were against Shrewsbury we can't rely on dodgy keeping and goalmouth scrambles. We need to create more clear cut chances.

Let's hope we can keep our run going. Come on you nuclear wildflowers!!

We’ve had a cracking start to the season, and we are a totally different proposition these days. A loss today won’t change those things and won’t alter our trajectory.

3-1 to the yellow horde

Pretty gutted to be missing this one as I do agree that winning it would feel like a big result. In the same way that winning at Stevenage felt like a big statement win given how difficult a place that has been for us to go in the past, besting the Gas at home would feel like we’re winning those fixtures that have always given us trouble in the past. Our last home win against them in the league (with fans in the stadium) was in October 2011! (We did win in the lockdown season, the Matty double, but I do think the presence of their big travelling support does tend to influence the fixture.)

Could be our first draw of the season. 1-1 for me, Harris to score.

It's not always been bad news. Back in the 80's we played them on Boxing Day a couple of years in a row in Division 3. Both clear, crisp winters days, great for watching football. First time it was 4-2 to Oxford. The second was a belter in the season we went up. Probably 12,000 in The Manor, and Kevin Brock scored a 30 year free kick in injury time (in front of the London Road) to win it 3-2.

Before my time, they sound like great games!

Looking forward to it today, we’ll have both a fight and a good football match on our hands and won’t be able to control it like we did on Tuesday

oufc are unchanged from the 3-0 win here in midweek. Subs: Eastwood, Thorniley, Smyth, McEachran, Murphy, Mills, O’Donkor

No Perkins in the squad again, even with goodrnham unavailable. Something must of happened, maybe attitude issue or he’s got an injury we don’t know about!

Probably the right setup to start the game. Looking forward to the subs after 60 mins as the game opens up and (hopefully) Rovers start to tire.

Extra whiffy here with breeze over from sewage plant : think we’re trying to out-gas the Gas

Surprised we haven’t gone to 4 at the back with rovers greater attacking threat than past 2 games - but trust manning has got it right,

Unable to attend due to 4th day of isolation for Covid. Sing your hearts out and get behind them today!! 2-1 .

Although we've also taken the opportunity to add another more defensive player to the bench. Still no place for Negru
