New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

I wonder what the plans for expansion are if it was ever needed, has anyone seen anything about that?

I love the stadium. No problems there.
Just think an underpass would be better than closing Oxford Road.
The idea of a bridge is a nono. Can you imagine if fighting broke out on the bridge?

The road closure to build the underpass would be popular!

There won't be any trouble at the new stadium. It will be a safe happy place for all.

It would be good to se some images of what it might look like under the green roof.

Have you ever been to Rome and seen a Lazio or Roma game out side the ground is a 8 lane motorway they don't close it everyone just walks straight across it no problems whatsoever

It should delight the Greens.
But agree, it could receive kick back from the local residents. There’s also a lot of bus routes using that road.
Ultimately, I think it would need a bridge or underpass.

Maybe there’s room to possibly use the railway bridge that goes under the Oxford Road? It would certainly be ideal from the platform.

That would be a huge and expensive engineering project. A simple diversion down dual carriageway Freize Way for a couple of hours every couple of weeks will more than suffice.

As its open to pedestrians, cyclists can dismount and walk past the stadium. Fixtures are released well in advanced so people will be aware.

What difference would it be in an underpass?

I've just read the online brochure properly, and feel quite teary. We've all known this on the cards but if it comes off it will be a seriously imppressive home and security for the club and wonderful oppurtunities and facilities for the people of Oxfordshire.
100%. So good for local schools too
