Itâs been funny watching so many Tories, including one or two on this very thread, starting to trumpet this âAt least Corbyn had policies - Starmer stands for nothingâ line.
Yeah, Corbyn had policies, and Corbyn got absolutely smashed. If I were getting annihilated in the polls by somebody who simply has to not be me in order to appeal to people, because Iâve been such a whopper of a turd, Iâd want the guy who is after the keys to be like the last fella as well. Nobody would need policies to beat Corbyn, either. Fabulous irony.
The funniest part about this u-turn âstoryâ is that, actually, hardly anybody cares. They tried to make it the main focal point on Question Time and all that happened was half the audience said they would rather have somebody being honest rather than breaking a promise after theyâve been given power, and the other half just sort of shrugged and went âI dunno, nobody really thrills me to be honest.â So some people havenât batted an eyelid, and the rest have been pleasantly surprised by the honesty and actually see it as a positive thing.
SCANDAL! SCANDAL!
Itâs boring. Call the election and get it over with.
