All this talk of bidding almost a £million for players and big wages. Bearing in mind we're not self-sustaining, what happens if the owners get ousted for corruption or summink Abramovich-esque? Or maybe they walk away if the stadium plan doesn't happen. It's a bit of a worry!

Then we are fucked (unless we can all start winning the euro millions on a regular basis). We were pretty fucked beforehand though, losing millions, paying a fortune for a ground that’s not fit for purpose and not our own, was probably only a matter of time before we went under anyway.

Everything in life is a bit of a worry, but it comes down to risk/reward. Considering the power/wealth of those involved in the stadium, and their extensive and successful experience in this very area, I would be absolutely flabbergasted if a few busy bodies from Stratfield were able to put a stop to it.

As many have said on here, money talks.

We need to invest in the playing side of the club, and our board aren’t being frivolous. They’re spending smart, and clearly see the value in having a football club in the 2nd tier of English football. Having a successful football team, will only strengthen our proposition. I do agree that it’s about finding a balance between ambition and sustainability, but with the accumulative wealth of the board, this spending is small change to them.

If we go up this season, I truly do believe that the sky is the limit for this football club.

Between the existing debt and the situation regarding the Kassam, both in terms of spiralling costs and the lack of ability to stay there long-term, the club probably folds without the owners at this point regardless of whether we’re the division’s biggest spenders or the smallest.

As someone who has decent inside track (you may or may not know or any other rumblings in the past), do you not think someone would buy us if we got into serious financial trouble?

Or is it simply the ground would hold us back too much?

Looks like the Joseph deal may not happen. You would of thought we would have had a response by now

I think KR is referring to another player? Joseph was at the game on Saturday. Bit odd to travel from Wales, only to say nah on the Monday…

KR has literally said nothing about the targeted striker, so we can't deem anything either way.
The only mention in the article is "As of this morning, United had not heard back from the striker they are targeting to bolster their options up front."

Do you have to ask? There is absolutely nothing to suggest he’s not coming to us. It’s the typical “KR has said something so let’s completely misinterpret that and turn it into something that it’s not…”
It’s possible he didn’t like what he saw on Saturday. I’m optimistic he’ll come to us.

Well if it is it wouldn’t have been the first
