The closer we get to Tuesday the more worried I am about Blackpool shutting up shop in the first leg and having their fans behind them second leg.

I'd be more worried about them coming at us. We'll know about their defensive strengths and will hopefully have the patience to keep chipping away to get a goal or two. But if we go a goal down we could panic knowing the importance of getting something from the first leg and lose our shape.

They came at us in the home game.
From the beginning and my memory is that their dead ball play was the best we have faced this season.
So whilst we defended very well against Burton, Blackpool are a level up.
So, we have to start far sharper and defend better (which to be fair we have been doing in recent games)

Stats from that game, it could of certainly went either way if we were more clinical. Since then we have been scoring alot more goals though so let's see what happens.

Have we heard anything on Sam Long - last thing I saw was article in OM in which he said he was having a scan later that day, but I didn’t think it sounded very promising.
Is the silence good news (I.e - keeping it quiet he is ok) or bad news and not wanting them to know for certain he is out. I guess either way I have answered my own question and that we want to keep them guessing....

I am guessing Robinson will remain guarded on the situation with Long until just before kick off, he’s pivotal to a lot of our play in both a defensive and attacking sense and i think us fans - and more importantly Blackpool - will be kept waiting.

I'll be amazed if he is fit and risked on Tuesday. I don't think the tear was as bad as feared, and he'll be doing everything to recover, but still far too early to play in my view.

I'd guess that he won't feature Tuesday, but maybe make the bench on Friday if needed. However I'd hope that we can wrap him in cotton wool until the final with Hanson playing out of his skin to get us there!

Yeah this is what i was thinking and would be amazed if he made any of the Blackpool tie - such a shame that such a pivotal player getting injured, though I guess you could say that for any of the back four given the lack of cover.

I think we need to make the first leg really count. Going to Blackpool with a 2 or fewer goal lead won't be enough.

The play offs don't seem to work like that.
A draw and we are definitely still in it, even a one goal defeat.
I would settle for a one goal lead, and if course, anything better than that would be a big win
