How could you possibly fit your old fella into that? Can't be to scale. Asking for a friend.I may have to place an order for one of these.

How did I forget!
Tough decision, what do I put in the flask?
I have to admit, I had other more, errm, exciting beverages in mind.Bovril or a soup since its a 6pm kick off and right at dinner time. I hate 6pm kick offs with a passion.

Something like that, in a way, maybe not quite so fizzy.Tizer?
Do I detect a jolly jack amongst us? (That or you have been reading too many Douglas Reeman books!)Don't forget your mask. Or you could take your old pussers anti flash gear
I'd be more worried about them coming at us. We'll know about their defensive strengths and will hopefully have the patience to keep chipping away to get a goal or two. But if we go a goal down we could panic knowing the importance of getting something from the first leg and lose our shape. The closer we get to Tuesday the more worried I am about Blackpool shutting up shop in the first leg and having their fans behind them second leg.

From the beginning and my memory is that their dead ball play was the best we have faced this season.
So whilst we defended very well against Burton, Blackpool are a level up.
So, we have to start far sharper and defend better (which to be fair we have been doing in recent games)
Have we heard anything on Sam Long - last thing I saw was article in OM in which he said he was having a scan later that day, but I didn’t think it sounded very promising.
Is the silence good news (I.e - keeping it quiet he is ok) or bad news and not wanting them to know for certain he is out. I guess either way I have answered my own question and that we want to keep them guessing....
I'll be amazed if he is fit and risked on Tuesday. I don't think the tear was as bad as feared, and he'll be doing everything to recover, but still far too early to play in my view.Have we heard anything on Sam Long - last thing I saw was article in OM in which he said he was having a scan later that day, but I didn’t think it sounded very promising.

Yeah this is what i was thinking and would be amazed if he made any of the Blackpool tie - such a shame that such a pivotal player getting injured, though I guess you could say that for any of the back four given the lack of cover.I'll be amazed if he is fit and risked on Tuesday. I'd guess that he won't feature Tuesday, but maybe make the bench on Friday if needed. However I'd hope that we can wrap him in cotton wool until the final with Hanson playing out of his skin to get us there!
Biscuits?Check list:
Sou'wester
Wellies
Plastic bags
Towel
Big hat
Bird s**t wipes
I think that should do, for now.
The play offs don't seem to work like that.I think we need to make the first leg really count. Going to Blackpool with a 2 or fewer goal lead won't be enough.
I’d be very happy with a 2-0 result from the first leg!I think we need to make the first leg really count. Going to Blackpool with a 2 or fewer goal lead won't be enough.
