Only disappointment for me was how few supporters were wearing face masks in the concourse. With infection rising and deaths still 'a thing' I'm surprised at the disregard given for other OUFC supporters' and staff's health. Is it really so much to ask for?

Can we not spoil a brilliant result with a massive argument?

Well that was very straightforward wasn’t it?
Lincoln offered next to nothing in this one.
Motm performance from JH of course but there were solid games from Cam Bran, Sykesy, Gorrin and Elliot Moore.
I have seldom felt so comfortable watching Oxford as today where it felt as though we could have easily scored more.
Only in the last 10 minutes did Lincoln even remotely look like presenting a token resistance as
we were in complete control.
That has to be a very positive sign.

I certainly don't want to spoil a brilliant result, or have a massive argument, but my son is now recovering from covid. The track and trace people are pretty sure he caught it at half time in the concourse for the Crewe match, and given that this was his only outing last week, I think they are probably right.

Not angry at you but those who are not respecting fellow fans ans staff

Great result, and superb display!

Sykes is soooo much better wide right, so much more effective, and had a great game, linking up well, getting into dangerous positions, and tracking back as well. That's his best position.

Brannagan was superb again, such an aggressive player, and he's starting to get into shooting positions again, and was unlucky not to score. Robbo said the club have turned down another offer for a player today, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was Cam, he's been consistently brilliant so far this season.

Gorrin is back to his best, shielding the defence, tidying up nicely, and keeping things ticking over.

Taylor might not have scored today, but he played really well. He uses the ball so well, and put in a typically wily performance, cleverly winning the pen.

Thorniley is a great player, some great passing in the build up to the first two goals, and dealt with Lincoln's strikers with ease. In my opinion, he's better than Atkinson.

Moore was his usual calm and composed self, used the ball very well, and calmly dealt with the Lincoln strikers. One dodgy moment when he went on a run out of defence and got tackled, but other than, the usual Rolls Royce performance we've become accustomed to.

Seddon is a very solid left back, both going forward and defensively, providing real stability up and down that left side. A definite upgrade on Ruffels.

Forde had a very good game, and is looking more and more comfortable as a RB now, defending well (except for one nutmeg in the first half!) And passes out of defence well.

Whyte is a different player than when he was here before, he hasn't set the place alight like he did before, but he's more intricate and considered with his play, and contributed to some good moments on his less favoured side. Would like to see a bit more attacking threat from him though, and some goals, but he had a good game.

The fact I've got nothing really to about Stevens, speaks volumes about the teams performance today! He was a spectator. His kicking was better though!

Another special mention for JAMES HENRY. What a performance! He passed well, tackled and hassled well, his link up play was excellent, and on several occasions, he brilliantly took players on in such tight areas, when he really had no right to, and a burst of pace in the first half to take the full back on, and get to the byline to put in a fantastic cross, with his left foot, showed he is in fact no slouch! His first two goals were superb strikes of real quality, and his penalty was put away brilliantly.

I was concerned last season, that Henry's level and consistency was starting to dip, and at 32, I felt maybe this season, with McGuane signing, would see him struggle to get in the starting lineup, but he's stood up to the challenge, and has been brilliant so far this season, and today was probably his best performance in an Oxford shirt, and when he's fully fit and in this form, he's still one of the very best in league one, and irreplaceable in our side. Well done Jamo! 👏👏

A great team performance, great passing, great tackling and winning the ball back, great one and two touch passing, great link up play, great shooting, great goals, and great use of the ball in the final third, with lot's of chances created.

All in all a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, topped off with news of an exciting new signing!!

WELL DONE ROBBO AND THE LADS!!👏👏

Just got back. Fantastic result and performance, especially in the first 30 minutes. Henry superb, but brilliant performances From cam bran and Sykes. The defence was solid too with Gorrin helping out with crucial interceptions in our box. Great all round performance, just hope thornily injury is not too bad as he looks a great addition.

Yes, I appreciate that. I'm just making the point that covid is still around and can be caught at the Kassam, especially if you are young and not yet vaccinated. Wearing masks in the concourse would reduce this risk.

There isn't any scientific evidence showing masks stop the spread of Covid. The only real way to stop the spread is social distancing which isn't possible unless you want a max of 3000 supporters each game. We are just going to have to live with it now and try and get as many people vaccinated as possible.

On to the game, we dominated that first half and should of been 4-0 up. Second half Lincoln were a bit better but we still should of scored a couple more. Shame about their penalty but rather do that at 3-0 up then 1-0. Henry best player on the pitch by a country mile. Looking forward to the Wycombe game now where hopefully a few more fans turn up as the players deserve a bigger crowd.

Wow that was a nice afternoon out enjoyed the game never thought we’d win 3-1 we didn’t get out of second gear until last 10 mins when we defended well
Good result 3rd in league
