The stats pointed to a good win once we took our chances. ...‘We’re going to give someone a right stuffing soon, all the signs are there’.
You know I can’t resist it @ECYellow
For the love of god don’t mention the stats…in any shape or form…The stats pointed to a good win once we took our chances. ...
Considering the weather, evening kick off, fuel shortages, I don't think it was a bad crowd.great win, well done lads!!
but, our attendances are truly shocking [emoji3525]

Couldn't listen to much more than a minute of that. The bloke is deluded.
Have you had a fall and banged your head?Well that was fantastic and sets us up brilliantly for Saturday.
Our new signing, Smiths Bletchington. Wishing him a long and successful career at the club.
Large breasted hostess eh? I keep meaning to try the SSUGreat that the lads showed up for me tonight. I knew that they needed a lift and that I had to be there, fuel shortage or otherwise. From the moment that I was ushered through my private entrance and handed a glass of champagne, with a flustered and starstruck “Welcome back, sir” from the visibly aroused, large-breasted hostess, I had a feeling that it was going to be a good night. I was too tired to make love to her, due to a brisk jog across the car park.
Overall a very satisfying performance, with Nathan Holland particularly catching the eye. Lovely little assist to go with two well taken goals. My feelings for Matty Taylor were stirred, his delicious chip causing my trousers to tighten, and wonderful to see Mark Sykes adding some end product to his ‘busy’ game. Herbie Kane, the oldest looking 22 year old outside of Nigeria, was a delight in midfield. If he is still working his way to full fitness then he really could be a cool cat. Good to see him mixing it up like a ruffian as well as playing some exquisite passes. Needs to let go of what’s left of the hair and just go for a short shave, mind.
Yes, a most triumphant return indeed. I didn’t even have the desire to talk in depth about how Luke McNally was a borderline liability for parts of the game, causing his own teammates to visibly lose their rag multiples times, as well as his manager when he caused a goal to be kicked in by the other lot. He’s got a very long neck. Possibly the longest I’ve seen. I have faith that he will learn to use such a length effectively.
The season starts now. Roll on Saturday.
I think you have to give the opposition credit when you've been spanked 5-1. But is he being serious saying Accrington were the better team in the second half... we could, and should, have scored 2 or 3 more in that half.He gives more credit than most opposition managers tbf but I do disagree with one point he makes; based purely on iFollow, the header that hit the post didn't cross the line as Forde was stood on the pitch side of the goal line and it went straight to him.
