I think you have to give the opposition credit when you've been spanked 5-1. But is he being serious saying Accrington were the better team in the second half... we could, and should, have scored 2 or 3 more in that half.

I missed that bit! Yes, that is ridiculous.

Player Ratings.

Stevens 7, Forde 7 McNally 6 Moore 7 Seddon 7, Kane 8 MOTM, Henry 7 Brannagan 7, Sykes 8 Taylor 7 Holland 8

Mostly the good.

Accy style ‘Taylor’ made for us. They kept on throwing players forward, we kept on hitting them on the break. Pretty naive display if you ask me, are they a young team?

Kane the big difference tonight, what a player at this level.

Matt Taylor had probably his best game for the club, the ball was sticking up top tonight and .. ..that finish..

Forde’s got to keep his place after that display, he was looking to run into space ahead constantly and dovetails well with Sykes.

Centre back pairing impressive.

The bad. Atmosphere lousy, I’ve been at louder seances.

Atmosphere lousy ?. Come on be fair, lot missing who would have been there tonight due to various reasons. Only 81 made it from Accrington, True supporters. Heavy rain and cold wind,. So what did you expect ?

Large breasted hostess eh? I keep meaning to try the SSU

McNally has a very small head as well as a long neck, quite striking.
McNally Always makes me think of the boxing game that was around a long time ago (whose name I cannot remember) where the losing player's boxer's head sprung up

Rock em sock em.

Impressive performance from Forde last night who was unfortunate to lose his place at Cheltenham.
Robbo has a big decision to make at Hillsborough on Saturday - does Long come straight back in ?

No figures for Cheltenham, but reports depict a negative number of fans in the away end at Sunderland.

Fantastic performance.

While I certainly wasnt in the camp that thought a goal fest was coming, i’m delighted it has!

Forde had a super game at full back. Big decision on Saturday for Robinson.

Kane looks outstanding and retains the ball much more effectively than Gorrin - not to write of Gorrin as there will be games where his skillset will be required.

Holland, Taylor and Sykes were a really positive forward line. Sykes for me has to be one of the first names onthe team sheet right now, he is oozing confidence.

If anyone was thinking of not going to Hillsborough…go on, change your mind! Get up to one of the most iconic grounds in the country and back the lads. We’ll need all the support we can get, but wouldn’t it be soooo Oxford United if we go up there and turn them over? I for one, can’t wait for it!

Weather aside that was a good night out at the football I don’t think im exaggerating to say we could have had 6 or 7 at last we played quick attacking football and look what happens when we do
A word for that bloke that got chucked out what a plonker shame he couldn’t handle his drink
