Away Match Day Thread +++ 23/03/2019 Coventry City v OUFC +++

After defeat at Shrewsbury on Easter Monday 2nd April 2018, we had the same number of points , 46 ,
that we have today after the same number of games. Bury, MKD , Cobblers and Oldham
eventually were relegated.

Oldham amassed 50 pts, Cobblers 47, MKD 45, Bury 36.

The U’s finished on 56 pts.

Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere but in my opinion the referee had a really good game yesterday unlike some of the other rubbish we've had of late. He got virtually all of the decisions right from where I was sitting including the yellow cards and appeared to be in control at all times. 8 out of 10 for me.
It was great seeing the team dig in and get a result when not playing at its best. The team spirit was really apparent. Onwards and upwards.

Simple phrases suit simple minds.
There was a referendum that was quite simple leave or remain and there were 33 million or so simple people with simple minds voting In a simple question that required a simple X in either of the two simple boxes that would eventually lead to a simple result which was a simple outcome remain or leave and it was a simple LEAVE that won. ?
Morning Pete.

I wouldn't be that comfortable just yet as I suspect more than 50 points may be required.

I looked at all teams from Plymouth down (the other week) and still reckon 50 will be enough as so many teams play each other so can’t all get 3 pts and then their other games are really tricky! Walsall look in trouble.

The ref was Scott Oldham - He was in charge our home game v Sunderland, did well then as well. Have we, after many, many years found a decent ref.

Am I right in thinking we've not had any games postponed due to the weather this season? Wonder how often that happens?

Politics is far from simple

Robinson deserves some credit for being honest in saying we didn’t deserve it.
Eastwood top man and kept us in it. Performance of men didn’t he say.
I see Moobs is still moaning on the Oxford Mail forum

I certainly don’t miss that troll
