After the first three minutes I was thinking 'here we go again', but the team fought back, created some half chances and then ultimately got the equaliser. Lincoln were missing a lot of players and they didn't have the attackers required to break down cause either of our rock solid centre-halves many problems.

Think the wingers were a bit anonymous, but Henry looked right and Sykes was decent. Forde solid too at right back. Was a surprise to see Chambers-Parillon come on instead of Kelly, but he didn't look out of place at all. Hanson didn't have the greatest of games but he did as well as you could expect playing at left back most of the game - although weird that Grayson didn't come on when Ruffs came off.

All in all a decent enough performance against an out of form side, if we can step it up from here then a play-off place might be possible.

Full credit to the management and players tonight , battled well and 3 welcome points , IF only we could of picked up something Tuesday night .Feet up for a few days now and then let’s do it again at the stadium of shite .

I am not for one moment suggesting the loss against Northampton was a good thing, but would we have had the determination and grit to dig deep and come back tonight if we'd had an easy win last time? Maybe it was the disappointment that did it. Masterclass from KR...

Massive win tonight, COYY!

Same when we lost to the scum, some say if we didn't we would still be in a relegation scrap.

I didn’t think Barker was anonymous, he was overall decent albeit drifting in and out of the game

Can someone give me a potted history of the second half? I saw absolutely none of it.

So pleased with that result for a variety of reasons.
Still in the mix with 9 games left, going to be an exciting run in.
COYY

Deserved win as well so well done KR all the credit is yours. ;)

A few things:

James Henry already looks in better form than before his injury. Good game and was involved in plenty.

Sykes was good tonight, with a really good run for the 2nd goal, and I liked the Cam Bran/James Henry trio in the middle.

Barker was excellent in the1st half, albeit quieter in the 2nd half. I will highlight a superb tackle that stopped a Lincoln break in the 1st half which I reckon has shown he is working on the defensive side of his game.

Mide defensively had some really good moments but offensively didn't have the best of games albeit with some good spells. He struggled to control the ball at times. He'll come good again.

Fair play to Hanson, he played decently on both sides.

Definite penalty but I don't think any of the officials could see it. But we got away with it for the 1st goal so balanced out.

Great that Matty Taylor scored again. Hopefully that really helps him kick on.

Hopefully Ruffs isn't serious.

That Rogers is some player. Championship loan next season.

And absolutely bloody fantastic that Scummer Sam Parkin has to talk positive about us, that must really be hurting him. 😂

There were two teams one in Yelow and one in Red and white. Marty Taylor scored a rebound from their keeper with his left foot the build up was down to Jakes Henry taking the ball of their player and a sublime cross met by Syuesnwith a great header but parried by their keeper only for Matty to score. And we saw the game out pretty well. Shame you missed the 2nd half.

Much scrapper than the first , James H lovely run and cross, Sykes header saved and Matty beautiful finish .
Thought we were very comfortable in all honesty .Leon C-P came on and did well , Winnall not so well .
Decent football and we managed the game well .Moore, Atkinson and Stevens a great , solid trio.

I know absolutely brilliant 🤣

Lots of huffing and puffing, Taylor slipped one in at the back post to win it.

Game went really scrappy, Lincoln had one real chance which Stevens smothered, apart from that we were on top. Some great crosses from Henry and Ford.

Michael Appleton shame on you - what match were you watching? "Felt that it looked like we were going to score again and hard done by" - we hammered them in every department and they were so "second best"- we now have the easiest run in of any team. They were never a play off team - and one CV victim wasnt the difference tonight. We have been awful last 4 games but I think we all needed the win tonight to give us momentum. WHY didnt Jamie Mackie do his dance and become a regular on Sky Sports!
