Have some of that!!! Two screamers to turn it round, absolutely superb.

I absolutely detest Pompey, wins against them are just that much more satisfying. Even more so after the way we did it today.

3 wins and a draw from the last 4 is immense.

That was with Long missing today and Whyte, Henry, Browne, Baldock, Smyth all to come in if required.

Get in!

To be fair, our equaliser and winner were from moments of individual brilliance rather than excellent team play to break down Portsmouth.

Overall, I think we had an off day today with poor touches, mix ups, and lack of ideas, but we still won and that is what counts, and that is what teams do who win promotion! I'm sure we will be back on it again come Tuesday.

I've also got to say, I used to have quite a strong dislike for Portsmouth, but I thought Portsmouth's support was absolutely brilliant today and if you glance at their forum, I think they've been in the lower leagues long enough to lose that sense of arrogance that certain other teams' supporters have.
Theyre a bit like the thing we have with Luton. We don’t like them and they don’t like us but there’s a begrudging respect both ways that it’s a difficult combatant both on and off the pitch .

The red card was harsh in terms of the rules. However, I think the rules should be, given the focus on brain injuries/dementia in footballers, that any reckless/dangerous contact with the head should be a red whether accidental or not.
Agreed, but Hirst, probably their best player on the day, should've been off 5 minutes later for elbowing Moore and got away with it. Balanced out in the end. If you believe Pompey fans every single decision went our way!

So on the plus side - another huge three points, incredible display of character and that was the most mental I've gone all season at Holland's winner.

The frustration......we were poor second half.
And I blame quite a bit of it on the substitutions. There's always the temptation to bring on strikers and take off defenders when you're playing against 10 - but whilst we were finding some pockets of space in the second part of the first half, once Winnall and Holland came on it just became so congested in the final third that we couldn't really do anything. So we spent most of the second half restricted to putting aimless balls into the box and shooting from distance (because that's what Pompey allowed us to do).

Thankfully, Cam and Holland have nailed a couple from miles away to bail us out. But I can't help but feel like it should have been easier.

Feeling really good about the playoffs now. Just a shame that Rotherham and Wigan are so bloody consistent. The automatics still seem a long way away.
Still, M40 rematch at Wembley?

With fans!!

Brilliant to get two 3`¬2 results in front of big crowds we always used to flop

Bolton defender Santos sent off. He'll miss the match next Saturday.
Not seen it, but Bolton fans seem pretty confident it will be overturned (handball but hit his shoulder apparently). Hopefully not, think he's having a good season

Pompey fans bemoaning the ref on social media - thought the ref actually had a very very good game!
If there were VAR I don't think their red would have been overturned but Hurst would have gone after. I sit right next to the SSN reporter and he replayed it a few times, looked like a forearm/elbow straight into Moore's face well after the ball had gone. Maybe they're annoyed it took so long to for a yellow to come for time wasting? If their keeper had been booked earlier he might have sped up a bit and not given us so much time to get a winner.

Not a vintage performance but we did enough to be justified winners. I like the theory of 352 but their second and the chance they had towards the end of the first half came from a bit of confusion amongst our back 3, hopefully time on the training ground will stamp that out. Also means we're suddenly a threat from set pieces, especially with Bodin's delivery.

Also is it true we've got a on option to buy Holland? If so what sort of figures are we talking? He made the difference today and I'd be pleased with him in the squad next season, with a run of games and some confidence he could rip this league up.

They seem to forget that almost nothing below the Championship gets overturned
