That was a strange game I don't really know how we won tbh .. the atmosphere was loud a some points especially after we equalised but was quite flat at other times ... After their player got sent off there was no way the ref was going to send anymore of them off imo they should have been down to 9 men before the 35th minute for the high boot dangerous play and the elbow again dangerous play ... All in all I suppose a good afternoon at the footie i.guess

By ‘somehow’ I presume you mean a fairly lengthy injury combined with your teams constant, chronic, persistent time wasting from minute 16 to minute 96 when we made it 3-2 mate…

(TBF - I thought second half Portsmouth were outstanding. They stopped the embarrassing histrionics and throwing themselves around like idiots in an attempt to get one of our players sent off and instead gave a battling, hard-working, solid 10 vs 11 display - backed by a cracking away support.

I was angry at the ref for not doing more to manage their time wasting and constant push to break up the game/keep the ball out of play etc. But adding ten minutes at the end was absolutely the right call.)

Is a sending off the right punishment for something accidental though? I’d have to see it again, anyway

I think there needs to be some guidance on the high foot from the governing body.

If they were to make a Red Card Mandatory for a.challenge like that then everyone would know. You do wonder what is trying to do with a foot that high

What a load of B*****s. Everything went against them?? The ten minutes came from all the subs, his teams time wasting, and a 5 or 6 minute injury to his player! What a t**t.

I can see why his team are a bunch of cheating thugs.
