Although if he does sign surely we can change the clash's song ' Jainie Jones' to suit Jobi so that's a plus point .
Why is kr following the path currently to fall fowl of the new board
If Mous is in the squad then we cannot be serious about promotionLooks very much like Mousinho will be given one more season with one year left on his deal. He’s in all the pre season photos. Will be 4th/5th choice centre back.
Hopefully he won’t be required otherwise it may come back to bite KR.

Depends on the add ons I guess. Think we may all be hoping Burnley make an immediate return to the premiership for some good old promotion clause money!1.6m seems low…

It has been said on here to get promoted you need back up in every position and the back up should be challenging to get into the team every game
That’s fair enough then, think as fans we always inflate the actual worth of players. He’s only had one season in league one, so getting 2 million for a player who was previously playing in Ireland is fairly good going.1.6 million initial payment, plus promotion payment and sell on I would of thought. Works out better than a £2 million deal with no add ons.
Suspect this is minimum we will receive. I wouldn’t obsess over that figure too much.1.6m seems low…

You are missing somethingAm I missing something here, whenever Mous has had to play the odd game he’s generally been great. From memory, he’s come on a couple of times late on to shore it up and done fine. Three competitive centre backs along with him and Long as back up. A lot of squads have a random player in it - Scott Carson at Man City for example, zero chance of playing but a great day to day example for others to follow and more than adequate emergency cover if called upon.
Is the squad limit 25 ? If so, then back up in every position = 22.
